Hi,
way/1202238830 for building house is 'not very good' ...
First the JOSM validator would have given you a warning that 2 nodes were duplicates of each other.

See https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=149.62249&lat=-33.44073&zoom=19&baselayer=Geofabrik%20Standard&overlays=duplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways%2Cduplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways

These can be merged into one node without loss of data.
Second the DCS Imagery would have given you better imagery to better map the house.

I leave this for you to look at.

Abbreviations should not have been used e.g "Mt Crosby Road" should have been "Mount Crosby Road"...

Hi,

The footway (way/1202026342 way/1202026342#map=18/-37.86047/144.74936) is wrong... in that it crosses it self. While a human can understand it a computer makes hard work of it.

See https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=144.74859&lat=-37.85975&zoom=19&baselayer=Geofabrik%20Standard&overlays=duplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways%2Cduplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways

The 'duplicate segment' is the issue. What is required is a 'multipolygon relation' with 2 ways - and 'outer' alone the outside of the footway and an 'inner' along the inside of the footway.

See
osm.wiki/Relation:multipolygon#One_outer_and_one_inner_ring

Hi,

The relation roles should be reversed...

And 'area=yes' on the relation ways is incorrect.

See https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=145.65886&lat=-38.06945&zoom=19&baselayer=Geofabrik%20Standard&overlays=duplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways%2Cduplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways

Brush Island nature reserve broken... way/67176498 formed it and this changeset has broken it into two .. but not placed the second way into the relation/8278760.

Hi
Multipolygon inner ways cannot touch the outer way ...
See https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=115.94432&lat=-32.08965&zoom=19&baselayer=Geofabrik%20Standard&overlays=duplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways%2Cduplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways

Hi,
relation/16213405 is not correct. See

https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=153.58627&lat=-28.79220&zoom=16&baselayer=Geofabrik%20Standard&overlays=duplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways%2Cduplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways

osm.wiki/Relation:multipolygon#Multipolygon_created_by_only_one_polygon

In addition the DCS Base Map has the area with probably better definition than simple aerial imagery.

Hi,

When you add a road name .. the 'street', 'road', 'highway' etc sections have the leading character capitalized ... e.g. 'Street', 'Road', 'Highway' etc.

Hi
This gate you have placed on Leakes Road near the railway crossing ... so this road cannot be used across the rail way crossing??? Yet the imagery looks to have vehicles using it... old imagery? If the crossing no longer exists then that section of road should be removed...

The Rossiter Pavilion ... why not use the outer way of this building as the inner in the pedestrian area .. rather than used all the building parts???

139803161 over 2 years ago

Hi
The relation/16193886 has some members simply tagged with area=yes, these tags have been removed as they convey no information, there ways already enclose an area.

Hi,
This changeset was partially reverted to restore administration boundaries for Pitt Town and Pitt Town Bottoms.

113181153 over 2 years ago

I have reset this to a State Forest - landuse=forest and corrected the boundaries.

113181153 over 2 years ago

Hi
The Armidal State Forest is managed by the Forestry Corporation, it is a plantation to produce timber. While it serves a secondary purpose of recreation, as do many State Forests, it's primary function is to produce timber... The boundaries are available on the DCS Base Map ...
