Changeset When Comment

I hear what you are saying. I was being a bit paranoid in case people removed / overwrote names, especially as some roads might get renamed.

It is unfortunate that some parts of old roads (here and elsewhere) get deleted instead of 'archived', thereby reducing usefulness when people are trying to work out where X road that everyone is talking about is, where X road has demolished.

Looking good so far.

I've added more road details, houses and other features.

Could you do a survey of the house numbers and what houses are built?

The apartments are 3-storey. Are all of the houses 2-storey?

I did some brief investigation at the time and my impression was cairn only. In Ireland, they tend to be pre-historic way markers or graves only, not shrines. My conclusion was that it was a case of over-tagging.

I'm not happy that the location is precise.

Thanks. I've fixed the footway. The Luas relation can be fixed.

Hi,

way/928990961

You have this as Bellingsmore Drive, whereas on site it appears to be The Drive (I hate addresses like "The Drive").

I can ask someone to look at it. I think JOSM has the option.

Fixed.

Thanks, I added a bunch more also.

Hi, could you check the names of the existing streets? This note note/3463007 points to The Cedars, but mentions The Laurels.

Hi,

You have
name:ga=Cill Cháscann and source:name:ga=Logainm

However, this page https://www.logainm.ie/en/1079 has "Cill Cháscáin". It may be a Logainm issue.

Hi

This relation relation/7890677#map=14/53.1449/-6.2004 appears to have no tags.

113672421 about 3 years ago

That wasn't intentional. Unfortunately with the debugger in iD the link for "Upgrade the tags" is next to "Tag as not the same "NIE Networks"". :( :)

Northern Ireland Electricity is the parent company of NIE Networks, However, there is effectively no difference, as it seems to be the only subsidiary of any worth. In turn, Northern Ireland Electricity is owned by ESB Group, the main power company in the Republic.

This is in contrast to other operators in the UK and Ireland, where the distribution network operators also generate and sell electricity.

The transmission network (>50,000 volts) operators EirGrid and National Grid do not generate or sell electricity.

Hi,

node/3641671655

How come you have moved the buffers stops at Connolly Luas?

In general, it isn't the done thing to have a single changeset that covers such a large area. Can I check what you have deleted?

123588639 about 3 years ago

The shape follows the location for the proposed wind turbines (also marked).

Construction is actually nearing completion.

"proposed" is a documented category. It's for things that have some basis, e.g. planning permission, not just a press release or someone's crayon drawings.

Hi,

Do you know if the two tracks meet up here? node/10216749334 and might the southern one be better as a path?
