Wahrscheinlich die Rappenecker Hütte. Den "Rappenecker Hof" findet man auf manchen Wegweisern in der Gegend, das scheint nicht eindeutig zu sein. Ich habe den auch von "Einheimischen" so benannt bekommen. Aber Du hast natürlich Recht, dass die Gaststätte sich auf ihrer Webseite "Rappenecker Hütte" so nennt. Die kleine private Hütte "Rappenecker Hütte" so zu benennen finde ich berechtigt, seht ja schliesslich dran und wie gross das Holzschild ist oder, dass sie privat ist, spielt keine Rolle. Die "grosse" ist ja auch privat und macht ihr Schild nach kommerziellen Erwägungen wie sie will.

Wenn man verschiedene Quellen anschaut, dann scheint sich der Begriff R. Hütte meist aber nicht konsquent auf die Gaststätte zu beziehen, R. Hof auf das Gebäude (s. Link). In den Quellenangaben zu Wikipedia wird beides verwendet. Vlt. wäre es besser "Rappenecker Hof" als alt_name zu verwenden oder zw. Hof und Gaststätte zu trennen. Dann gibt es halt zwei Hütten.

Did you mean that the service road section (W-E) and the new path (NE-SW) were both in the relation Vitingeleden and thus formed a fork for VL that shouldn't be there? If so, I now removed the relation of the service road to VL.

Sorry, but I don't understand the problem. Maybe the links you give look different for me. I'm not usually mapping traffic rules and don't see what is wrong in the imgur picture. The other link for me shows the extent of Vitingeleden in full. That also looks okay to me. I'd appreciate if you could explain what is weird about this junction so that I can fix it. I still remember what it looks like. I don't think the problem was there before I added the path to the shelter. That path was not mapped yet and I still need to assign it to Vitingeleden but otherwise I don't see the problem.

Hi again, you are referring to the turning restrictions, I presume. I don't know how those got there since I did not introduce them knowingly. Actually, I didn't even know about this property and the display for it. The junction didn't exist before my editing though, so it must have been inadvertedly introduced. I removed the restrictions now since there were no road signs indicating them. I hope this doesn't do any collateral damages. How did you find this at all?

The intention was to provide a picture for mappers who might continue the incomplete path. I wouldn't want to spam wikimedia with this and there is no need to keep the picture in the long term. How would one do this correctly, if at all helpful?

Hi Marc, which entry are you referring to? OSM only indicates a large region of the town with your comment but not a particular object.

Das weiss ich nicht mehr auswendig. Ich schau bei Gelegenheit mal nach.

Letzteres sicher nicht (mehr), aber vielleicht damals die Firma, die im Hirschelbruch Kalkstein abgebaut hat. Der Bach lief früher offen durch die Brückenstrasse und wurde vielleicht auch für Abwasser genutzt. Eine Abdeckung mit Betonplatten kam später. Der Hohlenfelsbach führt deutlich mehr Wasser, zuviel für den kleinen Graben in der Brückenstrasse, und früher auch mal ordentlich Hochwasser (sagen die Alten). Der Hohlenfelsbach hat den früheren Wassergraben des Biebersteinschen Schlösschens versorgt, vielleicht wollte er Freiherr den Dreck aus dem Steinbruch nicht bei seinen Enten. Evt. wurde damit auch die Wasserführung im Mühlgraben ergänzt, die Aar hat im Sommer zeitweilig wenig Wasser.
