over 5 years ago | What is your reasoning behind changing access=private to access=yes on driveways in this changeset and other changesets in the past? The majority of these driveways lead to oil wells/tanks and should not used by the public. Plus they are often behind no trespassing signs or some other warning/danger sign. That is why I've marked them as private.
over 5 years ago | Hello and welcome the OpenStreetMap! Here's a quick tip for future edits. When adding a gate we typically add it as a node on the road. barrier=gate
over 5 years ago | The articles I've seen only talk about negotiations starting again. Nothing about the islands being renamed.
over 5 years ago | Why the name change for the these two features? We typically discuss with the community before making changes to major features.
over 5 years ago | Did you mean to delete the residential area in Encinal?
over 5 years ago | A site relation is kinda redundant in this case. Most map programs should be programmed to understand that all the buildings inside the college area are a part of that area. A site relation is used when features are scattered across a large area. For instance, if the college had east and west campuses on opposite ends of the city. Then you could use a site to show they belong together.
over 5 years ago | These would be better tagged as driveways as the roads lead from a public road to a house. Unclassified ways (aka minor roads) are often public minor roads in the countryside. These seem to be roads which only serve the landowner and not the public.
over 5 years ago | If a road leads to a house then it does qualify as a driveway. So you were correct the first time.
over 5 years ago | I've noticed you cite Moovit as a source. Do you have permission to use/copy data from Moovit?

over 5 years ago | We do not abbreviate street names in addresses. "N Ben Wilson St" should be "North Ben Wilson Street"
over 5 years ago | There was a massive discussion about this very same thing a several months back. Can't remember what if any conclusion was reached. Anyway, the tags look good to me.
over 5 years ago | Hello and welcome! When making new buildings you can press the Q key to square the corners of the building. This helps to give the building a better appearance. Happy Mapping!
over 5 years ago | Hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap! Thank you for your edits to map. To help you make better buildings you can press the 'Q' button to square the corners of the building. It'll look much better that way. Happy mapping!
over 5 years ago | These are trunk links not unclassified ways. osm.wiki/Highway_link
over 5 years ago | I don't think San Antonio counts as #txsmalltowns
over 5 years ago | I normally try to fix or adjust them. In this case it was not worth the effort to all of them.
over 5 years ago | Please do not use abbreviations in street names. Ranch View Dr should be Ranch View Drive.
over 5 years ago | You are sure about moving the repair tags to their own node? By moving to a generic repair shop you're losing the opening hours, phone number, website, and other important dealership data. If someone where to search for a motorcycle repair shop all that would be return is a generic repair shop and no other data.
over 5 years ago | These area would fit better as a meadow, not a grassland. It's a minor difference. A meadow is used for hay or grazing. A grassland is a natural unmaintained grassy area. Happy mapping. landuse=meadow
