may I give a comment on this?

This kind of service road will usually have another tag: service=driveway and the part between the residential road and the gate is not 'private'

Service roads to private premises are tagged as a driveway if there are only 1 -3 or 4 houses, also a gate is a good indicator for the 'driveway'.

The non-'private' part here seems not to be important. But kindly consider a potential footway or cycleway crossing this driveway between gate and residential road. Routing a cyclist from cycleway to the residential road wouldn't be possible here, due to the 'private' tag.

ich habe die Edits verfolgt und es treten leider immer wieder Fehler auf. Das mag wohl auch am iD, dem Editor im Browser liegen, der ist nicht sehr einfach zu bedienen.

Was mir auffiel:
Dieser Weg "Linie 46 Hofmann" hat nur einen Namen, aber kein highway=server (?) tag, und wenn er das hätte wäre "Linie 41 Hofmann" ein falsche Name.

Auch wurden bei existierenden Straßen die "osm.wiki/Tag:highway=..." entfernt, was natürlich zu Fehlern in der Karte führt.

Daher meine Frage: "Hofmann Bus" als Username deutet für mich auf ÖPNV-Unternehmen hin und ... kann es sein, dass hier Buslinien gemapped werden sollen?

Eine Übersicht und Analyse der in SHA gemappten Linien ist hier https://ptna.openstreetmap.de/results/DE/BW/DE-BW-KV.SHA-Analysis.html zu finden.

Dort finden sich dann auch Fehler durch "highway= ..." gelöscht wieder.

P.S.: für das Mappen von Buslinien ist iD nicht so sehr geeignet, hier empfehle ich JOSM (josm.openstreetmap.de), der als Java-Programm unter Windows, Mac, Linux läuft.

Alles klar, Korrektheit ist natürlich oberstes Gebot.

highway=service oder =residential oder = ... wird hier gesetzt, da hier Busse fahren, die Straße asphaltiert ist ... Hinzu kommt am selben OSM-way railway=tram, da hier in der Straße Schienen verlegt sind. Soviel zur Kombination der beiden Angaben.

"Mehr" als =service würde ich hier nicht nehmen (z.B. kein residential oder unclassified), immerhin ist die Staße für den normalen Verkehr gesperrt

Please take care, although: iD isn't really good on relations. Since you're editing a lot, I'd recommend using JOSM.

I doubt that this is actually 'private' - this is a tertiary road with potentially lots of traffic.

What kind of signboard was this actualy?

On Mapillary (image as of 2018-04-18) I could see signs which would either justify "vehicle" = "destination" or "hgv" = "destination".

I don't think that this here is actually a Wilderness-Hut, at least not with repect to the definitions in OSM.

What's the reason that you decided on tagging like this?
I could see only a Scheune on the Aerial Images and mapped this as buildung=barn and that's what you tagged to the node.

ich sehe hier deinen Ansatz mit 'via' Punkten als Routingunterstützung.

Das wäre ein machbarer Weg, sofern man sich auf "routing" als gangbaren Weg einigen kann.

Ich würde allerdings als "role" = "shape_point" vorschlagen, da 'via' ja schon als Tag in der Relation für Haltestellen-Namen existiert - Konfusius läßt sonst grüßen.

sorry but the current form for 'ref' and 'ref:*' which I wrote here is wrong and also those in the relations could be improved:

ref = TGV 101/ICE 83

"ref:DB = ICE 83" should be "ref:DB InterCityExpress = ICE 83"

"ref:SNCR = TGV 101" should be "ref:SNCF TGV = TGV 101"

"ref:*" ... the '*' should show a complete part of the value of 'network' or 'network:short'

But I don't know whether blanks are allowed in 'keys' - I don't think so.

no wories, your intentions were good.

Actually, AFAIK, die habit is:

- if the 'ref' has two values, because there are two 'network's involved, then we can use '/' (wiithout blanks around it) to separate the ref (like TVG xxx/ICE yyy). We should then define also define ref:TGV=xxx and ref:ICE=yyy (or so as already done).

- if the 'ref' has two different numbers but from same 'network' the we separate them by ';' in 'ref' and 'name' (w/o blanks around it), like "101;106". Yes validators may complain about that for 'name', so what?

Secondly, the PTv2 specification says, that 'name' for 'route' Relations should follow the form:

1.) name = "... ref: from => to' or

2.) name = "... ref: from => via1 ... => to"

The second only to show variants of routes when they have a common 'from' and 'to', and only those 'via' values which are needed to show the different stops the use.

I'll check that during the next days.

Regarding name, name:de, name:fr ...

Someone from Poland working on Flixbus proposed to use the following schema:

name = "...: Paris => Strasbourg => München"

name:de = "...: Paris => Strasburg => München"

name:fr = ...: Paris => Strasbourg => Munich"

i.e. in 'name' write the name of the Cities in their home-country form.

Section 2.1.1 are ICEs, Section 3.1 are TGVs which touch German ground.

But you can see, that they do not follow the '/' but rather the ';' separation rule.

Nein, die Diskussion bzgl. 'kennzeichnen' hatten wir schon des öfteren. Das ergibt sich aber aus der Lage der Straße "auf Privatgrund" und access=private|permissive|...
