Local agreements take precedence over international ones.

We need height tag on tower object for information displaying purpose.

52776280 about 8 years ago

height=*

Note that meters is the default unit for tag "height". So " m" is not required and is considered as an error by a number of QA tools.

Time for this hillfort data to be fixed will come soon, but not today :-)

52731864 about 8 years ago

We're fixing wikipedia tags, coordinates (in OSM, Wikipedia and other local sources) without using wikidata. There are some other open sources for hillforts/heritage in Lithuania which I'm using.
In this case you've added a link to wikipedia page "Hillfort X 2" for an object which has a name of "Hillfort X 1". Which clearly shows a problem (1 != 2).

Reverted. Please do not do mass updates without checking local mapping agreements.

52731864 about 8 years ago

Change reverted.
Please do not change wikipedia tags without local knowledge according to automatically added incorrect wikidata tags.
Wikidata tag removed as well so that other people do not try to "autofix" without doing actual work.

Hi, I did not not add these pointless names. Previous editor Jay May did. I'm still thinking of a good way of removing these points altogether (or reducing to something less prominent like tourism=artwork).

Hi. Please do not change place classifications in Lithuania. We have an agreed schema on how places are classified and all places have already been classified according to that scheme. Now I have to manually revert your changes :-(

It is a „test/temporary“ tag. What I'm trying to solve is this: there are a number of points tagged as historic=memorial in one small area while in practice it is one big memorial. I'm trying to filter out micro-mapped memorials. subitem=yes helps with this filtering, but I'm not fully happy with it. So this should change in the nearest future, when I will find a different solution.

Kaunas and Nida campings have already been tagged as polygon. Moved new information to polygons and removed new nodes/dupilcates.

Yes, there is a tag „shelter_type“, unfortunately that information is barely used by data consumers, so tagging PT shelters with amenity=shelter instead of shelter=yes puts a shelter icon on a map (which is incorrect) and displays such shelters as tourism POI's in Garmin maps which is once again incorrect...
And all other PT stops in Lithuania are tagged without amenity=shelter... So using amenity=shelter for PT stops would mean retagging all bus stops in Lithuania or having inconsistent tagging, both of which is highly unwanted...
StreetComplete is also adding shelter=yes instead of amenity=shelter.
Regarding video: my opinion is it is not good to advice using amenity=shelter for bus stops, as such tags will be removed by other mappers, it is not the way bus stops are currently tagged (in Lithuania)...
