Yes you can create a new subject on the OSM community forum.
We're several mappers from the Belgian OSM community who are reading it on a daily basis.
I don't know how agreement is reached, but I can't imagine that with good and reasonable arguments we shouldn't come to an agreement.
And last but not least: if it's well motivated, there's no contradiction in having in Belgium a different consensus than the in the rest of the gloabal OSM community ...

Naar aanleiding van de opening van de nieuwe fietsbrug tussen Zaventem en Diegem, heb ik van de provincie Vlaams-Brabant eind 20 22vernomen dat ze een aannemer zouden aanstellen om de F3-borden op dit stuk (Woluwelaan-Zaventemsebaan) weg te halen. Dit zou in de loop van 2023 gebeuren. Op de meest recente mapillary-beelden zie ik de borden nog staan. Mag ik dus vragen om de relatie te herstellen? Ik volg dit in opdracht van de provincies sowieso op ...
