This "high risk flood area" is less likely to flood than east Mullumbimby according to data from Byron Shire Council - see Figure 29 in https://E2021-43041-North-Byron-Floodplain-Risk-Management-Study-Figures-12-to-33-web
So the hatched area should be removed from the map or all of Mullumbimby town centre and Mullum east (around Argyle St) should be marked as "higher flood risk area".
Furthermore, why is this the only area on OpenStreetMap marked as such in the Northern Rivers area of NSW when Lismore, Brunswick Heads, Billinudgel and other localities in the area were badly flooded in 2022?
