There is a sign at the entrance that says "Private Property". I am not sure why you think access=private doesn't apply.

It's an on-going u-turn restriction. When I asked the brains trust someone suggested reverse=no from motorroad=*#Italy was one option for tagging this, so I used restriction and reverse.

However, having just re-read the wiki page, I think that reverse is a typo and they meant reversing=no which is something different to doing a u-turn.

Hi,

Something has gone wrong here. You've put a railway in the middle of the Coral Sea.

Hi

Is this turn restriction relation/13334397 supposed to be no right turn *from* Nepean Highway? Rather than to.

I think this is some import junk from much earlier changeset/17847440

Have a look at the map on p.7 of that report, it shows which parts are actually protected areas. The rest of it is various land holdings that don't have a protection status. It appears that there will be another National Park and IPA shortly https://www.wilderness.org.au/work/great-western-woodlands

I think at best this could be described as a proposed protected area.

Probably better to just remove it.

Hi,

You have disconnected Kohimarama Road southbound at the intersection with Kepa Road (node/5693324977) Is this what you intended to do?

Thanks.

Hi,

You put in a no left turn from Alt St to Parramatta Rd. I have removed this. If Alt St really is one way at Parramatta Rd then you should split the way near the corner and tag it oneway=yes.

Happy Mapping.

Hi,

I noticed that you've mapped Logan Road so you can't turn right into Baker Street. The Bing aerial imagery appears to be recent enough to show the new intersection lay out and there is a right turn arrow painted on the road.

Did they do some more work after this?

Thanks.

Where are the turn restriction signs at this intersection? I can't see any. I can see the need for a turn restriction if the turn is not physically possible, but you can take the 1st exit from the roundabout if you miss the slip road. I assume that you think you can't, so what we are talking about here is a difference of opinion not fact.

If you want routers to understand that they should use the slip roads then you shouldn't tag them _link by themselves because you are telling the router that they are slower and should be lower in the priority order to the entry and exit flares of the roundabout. If you remove the _link tagging or make all of the entry/exit sections _link then the routers will work it out with out you having to put in turn restrictions.

Hi,

Just noticed that the new Bing imagery has this now. You might want to review your edits.

Thanks.

Hi,

This changeset has also broken many turn restrictions. I have fixed them based on what I think you were trying to do here. Please review.

Thanks.

This broke some turn restrictions. I've fixed them based on a guess as to what you were trying to do. Please have a check to see if they are OK now.

That is not the point. If you want to copy data into OSM there are a number of steps you have to do first. You need to start the process by letting other members of the mapping community know what you are planning to do. You do this on the talk-au mail list https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-au

Thank you.

Hi,

Before you go copying too much more into OSM from other maps you should have a read of

osm.wiki/Import/Guidelines

Thanks.

Hi,

What did you mean by the role 'part' in relation/13077221 ? Were you trying to map building:part=* ?

Thanks.

37681671 over 4 years ago

Oh OK. In that case maybe just go with your was:place idea.
