Thanks! Should this be a residential road instead of service?

Hi there! Curious, is there a new "no trespassing" sign? I surveyed this pretty recently and the only sign aside from the road name was a "beware of turtles" on each end.

With the new section of North Beacon St just above Parsons St, wouldn't you say that it should be 'foot=no'?

There is a sign but access talks to whether the road is physically restricted (gate). From the Wiki: “Note that access=private is intended to indicate that access is restricted, not whether the object is privately owned or not. Use ownership=private or operator:type=private to record this kind of status. For example, a privately owned road with public access may be tagged like any other road with public access – without access=* tag, or with the explicit access=permissive.
Unfortunately as of 2023 access=private is widely used as a duplicate of access=permissive as well as ownership=private and should not be expected to match the originally intended meaning.” In my survey, each house receives mail delivery as well as trash and recycling pickup. This and the fact that the roads were wide open without any gates led me to feel that “access=permissive” (which is how they were previously tagged) is the most appropriate.

Loughrey Walkway is a pedestrian street with a sign and is on the city map.

These are unnamed roads per the city map.

Ok. I do see your points and appreciate the information. I struggled with labeling these roads as primary because of how fast drivers travel on them. Some of these RI roads fall into a "gray" category where there's not a lot of solid data on what roads even qualify for primary. Thanks for the info.

Where does it say where the trunk ends/primary begins?

I'm not sure why you felt compelled to make this change. It's not according to the RI guidelines. osm.wiki/Rhode_Island/Highway_classification

Interesting one. I haven't run this one yet but I see the signs on street view. I probably would've added the name as well but the town map has it as a driveway. :-/ https://brookline.maps.arcgis.com/

Please do not make up street names that don't exist: "Walnut Street/Pearl Street". Each street truncates at Washington Street.

I had that section as primary to match the section it connects to.

These should be unnamed driveways. The name of the apartment complex doesn’t mean that’s the street name.

These are links to the highway sections. That’s why I tagged them as such.

"Wallingford Road/Kinross Road" isn't a road name.

Please stop making this change. I am local and have surveyed this, the road was correct as I had it tagged.

The parking spaces are to the left of the street.

166457282 7 months ago

This is a bad edit. The street is still present.

This "eastern part" is a driveway of Home Depot. The town map confirms it.
