Hoewel het mij geen goed idee lijkt om op de N44 te fietsen (in groep), is het niet verboden, dus terug bicycle=use_sidepath.

I did not remove all railway=abandoned tags. I kept them where there still is an abandoned railway track (often reused as track, path, ...). Where the trackbed has disappeared, using railway=abandoned is wrong.

Ik kan er niet aan doen: het is één van de looproutes van Sport Vlaanderen (https://www.sport.vlaanderen/waar-sporten/sporten-in-de-natuur/loopomlopen/overzicht-vlaamse-loopomlopen/), dus lijkt het me gewoon logisch dat het in OSM ook als looproute wordt getagged.

Het is een loopomloop, dus gebruik gewoon de correcte tag. Je kan ook fietsroutes wandelen of wandelroutes fietsen, enz... En dat waymarkedtrails geen aparte pagina heeft voor looproutes is ook geen reden (zie https://github.com/waymarkedtrails/waymarked-trails-site/issues/219). 'Don't tag for the renderer'. Ik heb trouwens zelf ook enkele looproutes toegevoegd, met de correcte tag. En inderdaad jammer genoeg nergens 'zichtbaar'.

And are you sure it's about that path, because on the other side of the Tienbundersweg, another path has been closed and removed recently from OSM. If people are using an older version on their GPS or so, it might still be there.

Google Streetview tells that at least in januari 2021 the path still existed and was part of those waymarked hiking routes. I can't find any information on the internet that the routes had to be changed. The path is not an official footpath though, so it's not impossible that the (new) landowner revoked the permission for that path on his property. But I don't live that nearby that I can go and take a quick look.

Ik ben zeker niet de enige of eerste die fietspaden verwijdert waar het beter is om ze als cycleway=* aan de highway toe te voegen: zeker wanneer het aanliggende fietspaden zijn of zelfs wanneer ze vrijliggend zijn. Bv. JanFi heeft op dat vlak enkele jaren geleden veel werk verzet. Een aantal fietspaden die ik voorheen getekend had zijn zo ondertussen (terecht) verwijderd, zonder dat ik daarbij gecontacteerd ben. Dus het zeker niet mijn persoonlijke keuze. Maar ik merk wel dat het een spelletje wordt tussen wie de fietspaden tekent en wie ze verwijdert. Omdat er in OSM geen duidelijke regels zijn over wat het beste is.

What probably happened there: the (new) owner of the forests recently fenced off his properties, closed all the tracks and paths (propriété privé etc.), or even obliterated them by planting trees on them. Only the official public paths remain. At several places maps were hung up to inform the people of the new situation. I looked at it from all sides, walked almost every track or path that's not private and tagged everything correctly (I hope). Dorian Dormal's attempt to reflect the new situation was a bit crude (removing alle the tags), Jakka's edits were also rather crude, but a reasonable attempt to repair the tagging. Sharcrash's edits were almost vandalism: he clearly hasn't been there.

Inderdaad. Dat is ook enkelrichting voor fietsers. Dus ik heb opnieuw de oneway:bicycle=no verwijderd en de relatie aangepast. In de andere richting loopt die via de Rue J. Wauters.

motor_vehicle=designated betekent dat de weg preferentieel gebruikt moet worden door of specifiek ontworpen voor gemotoriseerd verkeer. Een weg 'niet toegelaten voor auto's, enkel voor bosontginning' is iets totaal anders. Dus opnieuw: lees 'ns access=*#List_of_possible_values na. Zeer nuttig, die wiki, ik spreek uit ervaring.

Gebruik dan de juiste tags. Lees misschien 'ns access=*#List_of_possible_values na, vooraleer je nog ergens access tags toevoegt.

Je had wikipedia=nl:Borgloon veranderd in building=nl:Borgloon, waardoor heel de oppervlakte van deelgemeente Borgloon als gebouw werd ingekleurd.
