This does happen every once in a while, for example for paths in national parks that shouldn't be used by hikers. Deleting, however, isn't the best way to do it, and can even be considered vandalism: OSM maps the reality on the ground, whatever that is.

Here, the reality is that no one should be driving on those tracks. If the ways are simply deleted, they will quite certainly be added again by motivated mappers, and probably not be tagged properly.

The right way to do it is to change the 'access' tag to 'no'. Most maps will then show this as inaccessible, and routing software will not take you across it when e.g. driving from Killeen to Gatesville.

If you want a hand, I can undelete all the ways you've deleted and tag them all as no access?

Please try to find a peaceful solution on the name of the country. If Macedonia now has two official languages, it makes sense that some would want to see this reflected in the country name. In Luxembourg on the other hand, languages are a lot less politically loaded, and we just picked one because three would be too long. Note that this has nothing to do with the future North Macedonia name change, where indeed the Greek parliament hasn't ratified the Prespa agreement yet.

It depends on your JOSM config, but in the imagery menu, at the very bottom, "geoportail.lu ortho latest" should have the 2018 and "geoportail.lu ortho all layers" should have an expanding menu showing them all. The 2017 images could still be in your cache maybe?
