Good work!
In future edits, as a way of improving your mapping please consider adding the disused: prefix to existing tags like amenity=cafe and name= thus becoming disused:amenity=cafe and osm.wiki/Tag:name=.
This way, if other mappers see an outdated mappilary photo, they will know that they are looking at a cafe that is no longer in business.
Thanks for your mapping efforts.

Hello!
I've noticed you added a place of worship on the water at Horta Marina. Was it a mistake?
I'm pretty sure that place of worship doesn't exist, at least not there.
Have you found a place to pray at the marina building for instance?
Thanks

Hi Seichter,

I understand your point, as well as your motivations.
I've made the Caldeira Trail numerous times. Once, I recorded the trail with a Garmin Dakota GPS. It has an accuracy of less than 2 meters every 0.5s.
The previous version of the way was already a simplifyed and averaged version of the GPS track. It wasn't particularly sourced from aerial imagery, yes, imagery is very distorted near a ridge.
That's why I said it represented the turns. Yes, a trail like this has numerous turns that can be mapped using such a device. This is useful for runners for instance so that they get a feel of how technical a path can be.

Hi Seichter,
I hope everything is fine. What is the purpose of this edit?
https://overpass-api.de/achavi/?changeset=125670838
From my understanding It's just a mass deletion of nodes. Is there any advantage in removing almost all of the highly detailed turns of the trail?

Hi Charles,

Thanks for paying attention to what other users are mapping. These chansesets aimed to recover the boundary=census and boundary=administrative according to sourced geometries. Previously, boundaries used to share the same line with highways and other stuff. As you can guess, any user trying to align a highway ended up also moving sourced geometries.

Thanks for being aware, and please continue to be so.

Hello, and thanks for adding data to OSM!
I have zero local knowledge, but I've noticed on satellite imagery that this area is quite dry. On smaller water streams please consider whether an intermittent stream makes more sense than a seasonal one.
Keep up the good work!

Hello,
Thanks for editing OSM. This changeset covers an exceptionally large area, thus making an evaluation rather difficult to make.
Data quality evaluation tools such as achavi or OSMCha often fail to load changesets that cover geographically vast areas such as this one, so please have this in mind in future edits.

Thanks for editing. I just noticed this restaurant node was deleted node/3456369427/history. That's okay for me, I assume that you know It's a Restaurant that is no longer in business. In such instances It would be preferable if you kept the node there for history purposes, and by doing so it would not only keep the node history on the database, but it would also tell other mappers mapping for instance through an outdated restaurant listing, tripadvisor for instance, that the business is discontinued, and that info is very valuable! I recommend reading osm.wiki/Lifecycle_prefix

Hello, and thanks for commenting.
Are you talking about those instances where multipolygon outer lines touch each other?
I can go ahead and begin addressing those issues, do you think that would be worth the effort? I guess it's important to have the data on a way that makes it easily manageable so, having those lines touching each other makes it easier on a low-experience user to disconnect nodes and build a new polygon for instance, and that could be done without dealing with multipolygons. On the other hand, is there an advantage on taking up such an endeavour besides the reduction on the number of lines?
