Also resolved the unclosed ring a bit down.

Good to know you confirm There"s actually no way before moving the tag. The (prox) 15 meters is a function of Osmose and Keepright. They give the "almost junction" flag when closer than that distance which is when no exit resolves the problem. When closer it essentially forces the mapper to confirm there truly is no connection.
Question for you: suppose you find there's a footway at end to map but is dead end too. Where does the no exit go? Vertical archive?

As for the node drag, it was another mapper whose boundary box intersectie with yours, me clicking the wrong one. My apologies for fingerpointing you.

8 days later Osmose again reports a gap in the FL7 route Rome-Minturno. Don't have/know the tools to pinpoint where, the manual scanning is a crime to do in ID, to include if a section was tagged twice. Cumbersome to say the least.

3 warnings on your edit due a node drag on the first of 16 ways listed in the change set. I've repaired and please be careful to review your edits to check that all was accepted without alerts.

thanks.

Please, do not drag any nodes while you're visiting. It's painful to restore when that happens over long distances. BTW as I told your friend also visiting here, noexit is not required when more than 15 meters away from other roads AND who says there's no footway or other route to continue the way? Blindly moving the tag from road to way end is not an answer.

cheers

Indeed, often a footway has not been mapped. Also the end frequently is an overhead garage door, many a small building is ignored, carport, garage boxes etc.

Prob is, if its left standing it sets / maintains precedent and given its been there a year and no one querying the varacity/validità leading to it not remaining, policy seems to be not entirely hard and vast. The boundary is fake and some names but otherwise, says and building are real. Better edit it out than revert. King Matteo has not responded, maybe hé already abdicated 🤗

Hi,

Can you be more detailed in what you did in your edit set comments over and above 'all'. What?. You did save the edit set ignoring 5 warnings of ways crossing ways or water ways without connecting them.

So you know, as everyone sees this between the american great lakes and the Pacific island you touched. Not good. Only edit in one location, save and move to the next.

cheers from Italy.

It's called 'noexit' ;-) 'oneway' is when a road is only allowing traffic in 1 direction, which obviously is not possible on dead end streets. A noexit tag is not required when the dead end last node is more than 15 meters away from any other way. The navigator anyway knows not to include in route unless the destination is in the dead end. U can use traffic sign UK:816 at the entry (when present), most don't have though

Did query it with DWG that day i made the edit, no response at all. I like the creative 'circonvallazione' though :o}

Lol, did not see that as wikipedia=en:... link on his kingdom border.

Hi,

when you map buildings that share walls you need to connect the white nodes at the corner so the turn grey. Else OSM thinks one building is on top of the other but does not know which.

Oops, I slipped up in my previous life, in this one it is 'no_u_turn'. In fact, with 'only' Crispi also becomes inaccessible going south. Agreed? Fixed in a moment.

Huh, a dead end street can never be 1 way, neither can a node be 1 way as you write in your comment, but, you tagged it actually correct as noexit. :O))

Hi,

new flag. You shared footway and building edges and probable added level=1 to overcome exit-save warning of the building-highway crossing. Can't do neither 2. BUT, if you cut up the building edges and add the footway tags you can, at least it wont generate that or duplicate edge warnings. Given the roof, that should be on level=1 I think, the new default, touch a roof without that tag and the wizard fires up to upgrade. Then the path can be returned to level=0 or rather no level as that is the default. Anyway, the footway along the grass is floating at level 1 so the next warning will be a '... long xyz without a bridge...' ;O) I'll be happy to fix it for you, but how else can we learn but from our mistakes i.e. DIY. :O)))

Hi

Please see the warnings above this comment. You need to make sure to connect the roads at crossing. When successful, the white node turns grey.

If a road ends near another road but is not connected you need to put a 'noexit=yes' tag at the end. No exit is required when a road ends within 15 meters of another.

I've fixed the above for you

Ciao.

OK, I have created the walking route for you of 2° tappa which seems to start/end momentarily as Bosco d'Olmi. Click on link below to see the route. Up to you to do the rest and delete the path which I've moved OFF to the side of the existing roads and track to resolve the duplicate edges, a non-no in mapping.

If you have questions how to continue let me know.

Hi,

You mapped your parh on top of S.Filippo on top of other roads. You cant so that, plus you have 7 warnings of 7 crossing you did not connect. The proper way is to tag a historica hiking route relation using exisring roads and sidewalk. If you're done i can set it up at the forest end and then you can finish it, but the path itselff has to be deleted at it caused 340 duplicate edge warnings

Let me know, OGGI

If the signs at entry points are roundabout + yield it's a roundabout AND when it's tagged as roundabout you remove the oneway tag. OSM known which way it goes ;o)
