Funny, the CAR OSRM continues to route incorrectly with the no u turn added, G > P, but CAR Graphhopper does it correct in both directions, via the shortcut. The bike option still tries to let you climb via the Scaletta di Ferro, a neck breaking enterprise albeit I've seen MTB come down the stairs at the fontanella in full protective gear. My cycle program in tourbike mode happily sends me up the stairs, no indicator that a section has to be done on foot, so every time I pass the point going to Balzolo they get a full thumbs down. Supposedly the program learns from recorded trips but not on this one.

cheers.

PS Just tested, it completely ignores the no-left turn coming from Guardiagrele to PennaP, it should have taken the shortcut. From PennaP to GuardiaGrele it takes the shortcut, but that did it last night too. You might want to try with No-U-turn, just for testing. No to stay. Maybe there's a delay in the test system getting to learn but it ignoring the only-straight would suggest so.

Hi,

"for better route calculation"... just to be sure, we don't map what we'd like it to be, rather we map what the signs tell us and the lines on the road (yeah right that part is mostly in our dreams). Think the U turn rule is not indicated and superfluous as routing should already happen via the turn way just before and the only straight already prohibits the u-turn.

Hi,

Why did you change the stream to a very very long steps, the longest in the world probably.

cheers

PS there is a sentiero but it needs mapping separately. A little piece already is there at the top near Via Caduti di Marcinelle by the name of Sentiero Serafino Razzi.

Hi,

Other than the straight on was mapped inverse, should have been east to west - from, via, to -. the rule is required as signed coming from Pennapiedimonte crossing the bridge i.e. propose to put it back but than the correct way. A stop sign signifies the right of way is for those coming from Guardiagrele going west.

Fixed 23, left 4 broken! If you know about it fine, if not, better check it out with your change set reaching from Monza to Napels.

Me again, got no answer from you. Visited the location. It's absolutely plastic/earth covered waste dump 'Discarica "Colle Cese" di Spoltore with a gas powered plant on the side... methane gas from the waste dump which leaves the question as to what these P1-P52 are. Any clue for me?

and a farmyard.

Time to yank ESRI clarity as a trace mapping base, it's expired. Nature and farming has far moved on, many newer buildings missing in the set.

The mapper began at corner 1 with a node, we all do, and ended there too. There's really 10 nodes. Squaring would not have resolved the > 100 degrees angle of one corner, that one requires a little wiggle. Just what the connection is between Isle of Man. Langness Lighthouse gate and Borneo I will learn when encountering Livingston: That's the 11th node BTW ;O)

Sorry for the spell and grammar... Came off the 7x4 phone display.

Actually ID pulls many expired tag values thanks to the NDS or whatever the name is. This database is druiven By whats on OSM. Ut in de case of tyres, tested a car repair shop and it lists, yes, that one.
Where i often get got out with is fat finger typos, farmland turns out famrland and the suggestion list wont show, not to speak of the times ID/Java cant keep up with the typing speed, a big source of error creation. Not looking at the screen punch away and a wrong value gets create, time and again. And in case of a gommista shop, what appears, yes, Tire store. Nuts, an interface presentino US but values demanding EN.
I blame nobody, and nobody should worry about these common US/EN deviations. Data consumer problem, got better things to chase, trying to keep it all in my local 60x60km box as well.

CS resolved 4 issues, rapids tagged per wiki area recommendation: waterway=rapids

108347802 about 4 years ago

Hi,

Note, I've retagged and connected your rapids with the river... everything with 'river' must be connected all the way to the sea. Made it part of the river area relation while clearing duplicate lining. No need to map lines on top of lines, just assign a relation role.

Hi, scuse me for the interruption. There are at least 3 identical building in the shape kind of a horseshoe (i've mapped 2). Is it sure these are stables (stazzo)? If so, I'll update the tags on the other 2 . I've passed these on bike make times but never seen such creatures trodding there nor hay bale piles.

MTIA.

PS, 'stazzo' is a description, not a name. Really not to be used on an object.

Using Level0 v1.2 de facto combines EVERYTHING edited in the last hour or two REGARDLESS if saved individually per node. Presume this was driven by maybe the latest key report where it's up front hard to see where the edits are taking place unless zooming out.
Believe the key convention at OSM is English[EN] spelling, i.e. tyres would be proper.

BTW I looked in the Taginfo DB and there are near 4000 uses of 'tyres' and just over 1000 uses of 'tires', so 'tyres' spelling is the hands down winner in this case.

Now whilst some are somehow motivated to circle the planet and create these endless streams of mega bound box edit sets chasing spellings, the end user data consumer is likely giving a wink. Would they be looking for the key, they'd be pulling in both spellings... I would to ensure maximum capture.

Some way lay smoothing in the corner too.

How does one do that and why(?) with StreetComplete, an in-situ surveying app meant to update the map 'while there' on the spot. A building in Dublin, Ireland and a building in south central Italy being type tagged within the minute.... Flash Gordon at work?
There's better OSM editing software to do this wide apart updating and create small discreet edit sets that nobody but the local mapper will see, now the whole of the EU mapping community is told. StreetComplete is definitely not designed to do that... it throws all of the same in the same change set during a session simply because it was developed to update while going door to door.

So you know.

Hi,

What about the 15 warnings generated (see above in the change set summary). Going to fix them (?), mostly ways crossing ways you've not connected which means navigation software cannot plan routes correctly there.

cheers

Also added a bridge in motorway as part of the above (3D imagery shows 2 ways and a ditch passing below it. The ditch has not yet been mapped, connects to the fiume pescara.
