Riverside Boulevard continues south from 61st to 59th St. and is 2-3 lanes wide (wider at north than at south).

HOWEVER, there are concrete blocks in place across the road at both 61st and 59th to prevent vehicle traffic from using the roadway. Unofficially, it's a really convenient route to get down from 61st St to the greenway if you are on a bike or skates.
