Hi PropertyVIEW®,
I reverted your change on this hotel from today and last year, so that I could restore this hotel's tags, thus fixing the damaged bits. Also merged the adjacent Aloft hotel POI into the way, as the way was only tagged with building:levels and wouldn't render.

Hi PropertyVIEW®,

Thanks for your hotel edits! However, this changeset needs to be reverted, as Tampa FL is several states away from Maryland. Also, it it OpenStreetMap practice to spell out the abbreviations in street names, so it should be West Cypress Street. If you want, I can fix this hotel, but you may want to check on the Tampa Airport Doubletree. Thanks and Happy Mapping!

Worked in Texas and then back in Maryland (via survey), creating this super large "cafe".

Thank you Catalinad_Telenav. I am all for Telenav's review of construction roads (to see if they need to be opened), but *removing* a road without looking at the changeset comments (mine included field survey plus a link to an OpenStreetCam image) and/or asking the mapper does not seem right to me. A 6 month old construction road might not show up on imagery for a year or longer. Thanks again for the revert. And Happy Mapping!

Why did you delete this road? See http://openstreetcam.org/details/1181037/1584/track-info for my pic of this construction. Please revert this changeset. Thank you.

Hi Sina Dabiri,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap! The Baltimore OSM community can always use another area mapper.

I noticed you added names to the exit ramps. Please note that the tagging of things can be rather complicated. If you scroll toward the bottom of the "Edit Feature", and click on the "All tags" drop down, you'll see that these roads are already tagged with destination:street=Caton Avenue, and that is the preferred tag for an exit to a street. Note that OSM standards also include spelling out street names (so that a navigation program can read out "Caton Avenue").

If you have questions, check out Help (osm.org/help), and the Wiki (osm.wiki). Or feel free to send me a direct message.

Thanks and Happy Mapping!

Hi Specialisterne Austria,

I noticed you created this point:
node/5267642121, which isn't in Austria. Could you fix it? Thank you and Happy Mapping!

Hi J Ryan,
I'm using OpenStreetCam images (like http://internal.openstreetcam.org/details/123799/4965 from Apr 21, 2017) to add details along TX 114 and I noticed you added a speed limit of 60 mph to this road:
way/367885691/history. The OSC images I'm using show 45 mph and then 70 mph. Is your speed limit source newer/better? Thanks and Happy Mapping!

Hi erantr1,
Thank you for contributing to OpenStreetMap. I've noticed that you have changed street names to the abbreviated form. It was 16th Street Northwest but you changed it to 16th St NW. Please do not shorten the long street names. The wiki says: "If the name can be spelled without an abbreviation, then don't abbreviate it." Thanks and Happy Mapping! RoadGeek_MD99

Hi Memoire,

I noticed you added a bridge along South Goshawk Trail from Bing imagery for new TX construction. That road was a temp construction road and has now moved to the north. Please check out Texas Orthophoto, as the Orthophotos may be newer than some of the Bing imagery. Thanks and Happy Mapping!

Hi Saikabhi, I noticed on your oneway fix of way/383087783 that you used oneway=1, which is a discouraged alternative to "yes". It is also rare, as "1" gets 0.04% versus 76.8% for "yes", according to Taginfo. Please consider using standard values in your work. Thanks and happy mapping!

I'm a local. Field survey: drove with OpenStreetCam running. See also Mapillary. Will try to GPS next week.

Hi Mapmaker1559, while doing some QC, I noticed you had tagged a street with highway=residential_link. The wiki only goes down to tertiary_link and mapnik doesn't render, so I changed it to residential. Thanks! RoadGeek_MD99

Piligab: Noticed you had added node/4244431268 to Montgomery Road/MD 103 and accidentally added it to US 29/Columbia Pike. (node/4244431268). Please watch when adding a new node that you don't connect a bridge (tunnel) to another road at a different layer. I've removed the node from US 29 (way/425117552/history). Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I believe way/206465488 would have no purpose if way/159118954 was one-way (one-way now removed). I have seen a small number of the 100% ImproveOSM trips where the opposite direction had a very clear yellow line and a stop line at the intersection for 2 way travel. The yellow line is to the left of the driver, white would be used if both lanes flowed south :-)
