Today the work was a little bit complicated to my side. My assigned activities were the editing of tracks, digitizing buildings and zoning of different types of land uses found in the area.I have also uploaded the work which i did not upload yesterday and join the footways which were not connected. Besides, the new job which has been introduced today was the insertion of reports to the the available map. In so doing the community members were assigned to identify problems they are facing in the areas of residences and upload them on the website. The following are the main issues:
1.Poor Sanitation
2.Poor Health services
3.Lack of Accessibility in the area
4.Poor Educational facilities.
5.Lack of Solid waste management.
6.Poor security
7.joblessness in the community
8.involvement of youth in informal activities
9.Inadequate water supply

Oh wow,how wonderful it is! Looking at Tandale map now, it looks like an area which has undergone the regularization processes. Tandale has been revived, its map can express itself and can tell its own story. After entering the footpaths and buildings in Tandale, i noticed that many buildings were just accessed by foot way and no vehicle could pass over. The buildings are shapeless with unconnected dead end paths, and lots of zigzag.
To day i have traced lots of footpaths and buildings which have changed the outlook of the the Pakacha subward. This has matched the actual situation of pakacha with its image (bing imagery)
Frankly speaking i have learned a lot during the few days of work. From this program I have planned to map my own village and make it popular and known to others.
