Good catch, have never heard the term in common use in India for a temple. Have submitted improvements to the list which should fix this.

There are plenty of cases where the Wikipedia definition deviates from the OpenStreetMap concept.

Wikidata is flexible enough to allow anyone to create a new concept if it does not overlap with an existing one, so its fairly easy to correct the definition in such situations to align almost perfectly with the OSM concept.

Thats right, haven’t figured out how to have just a blank style and add a TMS layer. One would not need a API key then.

OpenLayers is definitely an alternative and have added that. Not sure if leaflet can do this, do share an example if you find it.

Creating a GL stylesheet of osm-carto will be quite a challenge, the label placement/collision in GL does not seem as mature as mapnik. Still might be a interesting project to try out.

Nice work! Admittedly, many of those ugly large forests were traced by me using landsat over 6 years ago, nice to see many of them getting updated!

You can choose filters>bbox to refine the area or filters>reason for extra filters like only new user. Thank you so much for this suggestion, hope this is useful for the Japanese mappers.

You can find changesets with a review requested flag here: osmcha review requested. This can be a great way to provide feedback to new mappers and send them a nice welcome message to the project.

You can also use filter>bbox to limit results to any map area of interest. Please add any other useful filter links to the wiki

A little tidbit of info, the Bellandur lake was actually used as a water landing airstrip for seaplanes in the 1940s. And also there’s an ancient temple that was excavated around the edge which is now inside the Wind Tunnel Centre. I should join you one of these days!

It would be great to have a tool that allows one to review and fix notes on the move, this can be a very fun outdoor activity and wish one could view notes in maps.me. Are there any mobile apps that lets one work on notes?

If there are too many Mapillary images in your area, the JOSM plugin could take quite a bit of memory and could get difficult to work with. At the Mapbox data team, we built a simple web ap to browse detected turn restrictions from Mapillary to make the process more efficient. We usedthis workflow to add many missing turn restrictions in Germany.
