There is a french Primary School in this village. The children from the extended bay area come here for school. This is difficult because the river can be treacherous during the rainy season. There is a small canoe for crossing when the flow is strong/high. Even still, many children do not bother when they weather was been active. There has been some talk of trying to build a bridge- but funding is elusive.

One of maybe 6 villages in this small bay area. The one at the foot of the trail that goes over the hill to Port Narvin is called Perusa. It is framed with a large pasteur to the south-west side of the village. As of 12/2014 there were about 20 people in Perusa, more than one thrid of which were children.

I think this is the general (previous) location of the TVL cell-tower. It is either currently damaged or missing. (3/23/15)
