An der Stelle wurde vergangenen Freitag eigens für die im Juni stattfindenden FISU ein Verbindungsstück zwischen dem Inline-Weg und dem Fußweg angelegt und gepflastert. Er dient für den Geher-Wettkampf, damit man genau auf einen Rundkurs von 1,25 km kommt. Das neu angelegte Verbindungsstück soll permanent erhalten bleiben.
