Trail is washed out and on a very unstable scree slope with a small cliff at the bottom. We searched this area extensively but there are only little bits of the trail remaining and no safe way that we could find to get down the cliff and cross Newport Creek safely. This segment should be removed. We researched and others reported similar problems going back a couple of years. Our attempt date was May 22, 2022.

"No longer here"
