The bridge over the Kern River appears at roughly 36.47350, -118.40709. The visible trail in the Bing imagery also shows the current path is somewhat off. So the trail needs a bit of adjustment to compensate.

Safe use of hiking trails sometimes requires knowing whether stream crossings are bridged. A very nice suspension footbridge has been built on this popular trail.
