This currently empty hill towards the top of this street used to have motel that had an hourly rate everyday of the year. Drugs were often sold, prostitutes arrested and shoes hung from the power lines about this infamous motel called by homeowners on the street and the children who played there the "hell motel." After years of complaints and petty crime the city leveled this eye sore once and for all the with the word "thank you, greentownship" spray painted in green across the front of the building by an unknown neighbor on this street. Fun fact: although this happened more than 10 years ago, this is the reason why the Shell across the street still closes at night and it's not 24 hours.
