Road classifications could be improved in downtown LA and around the LA metro area. I've been using this map from Caltrans to help:

However, I've noticed that in some cases these classifications are incorrect, such as for Long Beach Ave.

Principal arterials are equivalent to primary, minor arterials are equivalent to secondary, and collectors are equivalent to tertiary.
