@vraskavec - in case of large imports done in violation of our rules - it is better to revert immediately when it is easy

Revertying old imports may be impossible and in case of copyright issues may require deletion of all data in city.

If you are unsure how to revert - contact DWG ( osm.wiki/Data_working_group )

another example where it dies not apply: you do not get to ignore copyright (AFAIK someone from Lithuanian community tried some time ago, ended in large scale reverts including losing good faith contributions)

if you decide to map hiking routes as highway=motorway then it DEFINITELY can be overriden

I asked you to produce evidence that this tagging schema is actually supported and you failed to do so

I am not going to make a proposal but rigid adherence to official road classification scheme to produce OSM highway tags is always mistake

And discontinuous secondaries on bridges are patently absurd

nothing is overstating things a bit, given that you argue about edit that I made in Lithuania

page states (also in Lithuanian, I checked) that it is proposal, in addition it completely fails to handle road classification and results in aggressively bad road classification

wiki page also fails to provide any indicator or evidence that it was even discussed (typical way to achieve this is to provide references)

Also, is there some indicator that this extreme deviation from tagging standards is even supported by local community?
