Might be better to put the node on Fort Hill Road at the stop line with direction=forward/backward. I feel like people are slowly moving away from placing the sign on the intersection node.

Hi the highway classification follows function rather than appearance.

Since these roads still lead to houses they are most likely highway=residential, surface=dirt
(can also add osm.wiki/Tag:smoothness=)

if closed for traffic then also access=yes, motor_vehicle=no

surface=*
access=*

Tracks are for roads that are for forestry, recreational,... purposes.

Thanks for the fix. I think the address was supposed to be at one of the houses to the north and it got somehow misplaced here

I restored the road previously (sorry).

If you want to have the road deleted you can either repeat your edit or revert my changeset #107868600 in JOSM (I can also do that if you want)

I meant that you deleted this address point: 8762379169

And merged it into this address point: 8762436479

as addr:housenumber=18;233 and addr:street=East Dover Street;South Elm Street

(your second changeset changed the housenumber back to 18, but kept the street)

I was wondering if node/8762379169 was wrong and should be really deleted and if node/8762436479 address assigned to two streets at the same time.

So the house has two addresses at two different streets?
Also South Elm Street seems to be quite far from the house.

it's fine if the road leads to private houses. We just mark it as access=private, no need to delete.
