Thanks!
I would really like to get involved with more imports, there are many datasets worth adding to OSM. The sad part is that preparation and execution take so much time that right now it is unfeasible for me. 🙁

Uff.. I am not an expert on these type of tags, but how I understood this old proposal (osm.wiki/Proposed_features/Destination_details#destination:ref:to) it should be destination:ref=CT 159. The destination:ref:to tag seems to be used for roads that are up ahead, not those that the exit directly leads to.

Feel free to join osmus.slack.com and post a question there. There are more people that understand this better than me.

Hi,
since you started to retag destination info it might be worth checking here: osm.wiki/User:Minh_Nguyen/destination:street

It suggests that destination:street to be used when street name is an additional information on the road shield and destination tag if the street is the main destination.

We don't know how does Magic Earth's routing work (might be a good thing to ask them), but typically it would try to use roads that will get you the closest to the address.

So the idea would be to move the address point that is inside the building closer to the edge that faces the correct parking lot.

Other things that could possibly help is having the main entrance node and the parking lot area mapped. And perhaps adding a footpath from the parking lot to the entrance.

Hi!
Which router has an issue? This is typically solved on the side of the router software. Creating fake address points only causes problems for other data users.

Hi and welcome to OSM!
Just a small tip, when you finish drawing a building outline press "Q" and this will adjust all angles to 90˚. Buildings then look nicer.
Cheers

Hi,
thanks for editing, but were the runways completely removed? They can still be seen from satellite imagery.

Hi there!
Is this really correct? There is a marked hiking trail leading on that path and is also marked on the map created by the McLean Game Refuge:

Hi,
thanks for all the cool edits. I just wanted to let you know to be more careful where you place the address information. In several buildings you accidentally placed it on building parts (building:part=yes), but generally it should go on the whole building outline tagged as building=*.

To make it easier to select overlapping features in the editor, just select one node and press Ctrl +↑ (Pc) or ⌘+↑ (Mac). Then you can select "building" feature in the top left corner menu.

Cheers

Why was here necessary to remove a stream in USA?
And why did you remove all the railways and buildings in Taraz?

131273686 almost 3 years ago

Hi, can you please explain your edits?
The building that you are removing are not perfect, but those that you are adding absolutely don't match the true shape nor are at the correct position.

Thanks for clarification.
I assume they will have to remove this trail (relation/12110302) if they restricted access by foot as well.

Yes there is a delay between the live database and their map. I don't know how often the update happens, but I would assume on a scale of days. From what I know trails will then have a text saying "PRIVATE" on them.

As a sidenote, just because a driveway or a trail is privately owned doesn't mean that the access is restricted. For that a gate or a sign saying no trespassing would have to be present. But a tag ownership=private can be added to note the ownership status.

In this regard, is the whole forest road marked as 'no trespassing' or is it only the little stub at the lake. Because it seems that the most of the forest road is inside Great Mountain Forest and was probably meant as a lake access for visitors.

More details on trails and road access tagging can be found here:
osm.wiki/United_States/Trail_Access_Project
access=*#List_of_possible_values

For roads/trails that have restricted access we use access=private tag.
Thanks

Nice job!

That's a good start! You can make the outline of the water more accurate to reality though. When you are editing the data you can switch to a different background in the right-hand side menu or by pressing 'b'.
Then select 'CT ECO Orthoimagery (2019)'. Also helpfull can be hill shade layer from LiDAR data 'CT ECO Shaded Relief'.
