Could be that I mixed up the colors, but according to picture in here, it should be correct:
https://www.globalsistersreport.org/spirituality/warning-gps-might-make-you-lose-your-way

I see what you are going for now, but we should be careful. Osmc:symbol should represent the real life blaze and not leave people guessing.

Also I am wondering what is the purpose of replacing e.g. blue_red:blue_stripe:red_lower with blue-red:blue_stripe:red_lower. The underscore was used to keep the value separator consistent. Does it cause troubles anywhere?

Hi David,
what is the reason behind this change?
New osmc:symbol does not follow to correct syntax.
Expected is color:backround_symbol:foreground_1:foreground_2

And also "white_round:green_triangle" does not describe "White tree in green circle".

Hi,
sorry but I don't see how removing natural=water tag and leaving only name on the node is an improvement.

It should be either expanded into a water area or deleted if we are sure the pond doesn't exist.

Hi,
I just noticed that your check_date tags have value "check_date=2025-10-16".
I went ahead and fixed those.
Cheers

Cool project. Thanks!

By poking around I found also this one, but its data hasn't been updated in a year.

Just out of curiosity, which database is that? I've seen lot of new users adding cameras lately.

Thank you so much for the additional edit and the data share Tanya!

Thanks for the edits!
It's a bit pity that we don't have access to your imagery to verify those changes.
But here I would like to point out, that if a building was demolished it should be removed and ideally also new buildings/parking lots drawn in their place.
In this case it seems like a new gas station was built on this lot?

Hi,
These edits look like an ongoing import. Is there any page documenting it? Or at least a mention of source of these data in the changeset "source" field would be helpful.

Hi,
since this feels like an import, it might be good to add link to import wiki page or at least add source of the data to changeset source field.

Hello,
the owner is already reflected in the "operator" tag.

Hi,
I have adjusted hgv to destination as trucks can enter but should not cut through.

Hi,
I checked their website and it still says that the restaurant is open. Is there a reason for deleting it?

171314109 4 months ago

Hi and thanks for improving OSM!
Just an advice, when you see a business close it better not to delete the whole point, but rather only remove the tag denoting the business (e.g. amenity=restaurant). This way the address is preserved and can be reused when a new business opens at the same location as it often happens. Plus it keeps the history of the place intact.

Cheers.

Hi and thanks for improving OSM!

Just a small thing for the next time. No need to create a separate building for restaurant. You can just create a point and label it as restaurant.

Hi, from what I know cycleways are considered more for "urban" cycling infrastructure and having cycleways in the middle of a forest would be misleading. Also I've seen that some of them have hiking difficulty scale tags which tell that those are used by hikers as well.

When it comes to safety, if there are actual physical sign that restrict movement of people or designate the use for bikes this can be added using access tags: bike=*, foot=*
But ultimately it is a responsibility of the trail maintainer to place appropriate warning sign so visitors don't come into danger.

osm.wiki/Mountain_biking

On a side note, are those actually official MTB trails endorsed by the landowner? It somehow seems to me that those biking features were built on top of existing hiking trails.

Hi and thanks for helping OSM!

Looking at these short roads that are branching of Byrne Court, it seems to me that they are driveways leading to individual houses. Are you sure that they are named and there are street signs posted on them?

Cheers
