My sister descended a steep & loose path hereabouts direct to Ilam Rock & the footbridge. It's not on OSM, but from her description obvious from above, whereas the it not obvious that the public footpath continued.

This is 'Hyde Lane' (with a 'y'), at least according to the street sign at the junction with The Dale and Hall Bank.

As per note/110226 this didn't look like an unclassified road when I was last here.

This definitely didn't look like an unclassified road the last time that I was here. It was a service road to a farm, and didn't look like it was council-maintained. Has this status changed? I don't see any extra underlying GPS traces, suggesting that a survey hasn't happened, and someone's just guessing.

I don't believe the the The North Staffordshire Railway is located here (or not any more). Their website says Cheddleton Station

I believe the stream mapped here is in the wrong place. It's currently mapped as north of the track, but I'm fairly sure it's south of the track for most or all of its course. The track seems to be in the right place.
