Hello! (eller hej!)

Most buildings on Pedagoggränd (and Ålidhem in general) have several housenumbers since there are multiple entrances. The way you updated them didn't add but overwrote housenumber details (but great that you're helping nonetheless!).
I have now fixed the Pedagoggränd 11 A-K housenumbers by creating "entrance" nodes and attaching full address details to those.

I see in the changeset details that you're using "MAPS.ME", is it possible to create a "node" or a "point" there? In that case, it would be best to attach addresses to various places (especially like these) by creating a single point and placing it either in the approximate center of the building part - or more easily by the entrance.

Thanks for contributing! Even if it doesn't get perfect on the first try it definitely helps the general mapping efforts! And it motivates others to help out.

Then you can add the key "trail_visibility" to indicate this! (it won't render differently on this map, but can be useful in other cases)

Vespucci just did stuff, but to describe what this changeset does it was just setting the elevation on Bräntberget. (though it was apparently moved a meter or so)

One of the things was that ways connecting the parking aisles should be only highway=service according to wiki.

Det bästa sättet att alignera saker på kartan är att använda sig av GPX-spåren. Om du redigerar i iD (webbläsaren, vilket du verkar göra) så kan du aktivera dessa genom "Background settings (B)" => "OpenStreetMap GPS Traces". Titta då t.ex. längs cykelvägar och annat.

Flygbilder blir ju per automatik skeva om de tas över en stor yta, pga det som är direkt under flygplanet verkar större än det som är i vinkel längre bort etc.

I'd like to suggest that maybe the amenity=bus_station is perhaps actually a highway=bus_stop (or according to a newer way of tagging waiting platforms, public_transport=platform). A station is usually a building or otherwise larger area (the "Bus 4" name suggests this is just one of many bus stops in a larger station).

You can check here if highway=bus_stop is perhaps a more appropriate tag: highway=bus_stop

I found the wiki page now and it specifies "shot-put" (but there are ~50 "shot_put" and only 11 "shot-put"): sport=shot-put

Also as I mentioned, tags are generally normalised so - turns to _, so it would be the same in American and British English. (the tag is only an identifier which should be replaced anyway by interpreting software when internationalized).

Hi! Are you sure this should be changed to use a dash? The defacto standard seems to be using underscore for spaces and I'll refer to Wikipedia as a reference source that writes the words separately: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shot_put

Underscores generally also replace dashes when normalising tags in other programmatically inspired syntaxes, so I believe the _ should be kept.

I reverted this in changeset/38413651 because I forgot to download all members of the relation "Sverigeleden (4)" (103862)

Mostly it is that the turning circle actually has that specific area. And I would preferrably remove the single-node one.

The fences along the side go along the edge of the turning circle and the footways/paths visibly end on the edge of the turning circle. It works sort of like a load/unload area for the nearby building "Klossen" etc.

Am I crazy for thinking the one with area=yes should be the one mapped? :)

Having the single node removed would also mean removing the ways that go inside the area of course, since the turning circle is available for anyone going by foot or coming with a delivery vehicle etc.

Hej! Noterade att Göta bio redan var markerat (sedan 3 år tillbaka på en enkel nod, node/2097000227). Ifall hela byggnaden är tillägnat biografen är det förstås precis som du gjort som det ska vara - och då kan du ta bort punktnoden som är Göta bio. Kan du som förmodligen har bättre koll än mig fixa till det där? :)

Sedan är jag nyfiken på vad "lasagradafamilia" är mitt i Alaska, som var del av detta changeset. Det närmsta jag hittade på webbsökning var Holy Family Church i Anchorage, vilket ligger längre söderut: 61°13′2.53″N 149°53′52.69″W

Hello GerdP, I meant to map the turning circle (it is the oval shaped area, clearly separated from the surrounding paths).

The reason I mapped the turning circle twice was purely for rendering, which I thought was a good idea at the time but am not at all convinced of anymore (rendering should adapt to mapping rather than the other way around of course!).

I'm curious what you mean with the tag being obsolete? Perhaps you meant redundant? Then perhaps, but I'd rather remove the single node version.

I know the wiki says not to use highway=turning_circle on an area, but in this case I would argue it is appropriate.
