| 153485504 | over 1 year ago | That makes sense to me - I've added "lit=yes" to these features in Changeset: 153510716. Happy mapping! |
| 152174708 | over 1 year ago | Thanks for catching that and bringing it to my attention - I have further updated this part of N 137th St (now Way: 1296454128 and Way: 1064471020) in Changeset: 153219914. Let me know if there's any further problems I've introduced. Much appreciated and happy mapping! |
| 152493911 | over 1 year ago | Hi - I just wanted to chime in and add my support for these types of tagging fixes. Genus/species/taxon tagging is an absolute mess, and changes like this ("species=Tilia sp." -> "genus=Tilia") help to clean that up. Thanks! |
| 153082976 | over 1 year ago | Many thanks - surveys of stop details like `ref`s are really helpful when mapping public transportation routes, especially in locations like this where there's two identically-named stops very close on opposite sides of the road. Much appreciated. Happy mapping! :) |
| 153067885 | over 1 year ago | Hi! I noticed that this changeset doesn't seem to include any actual tag or geometry changes, but the involved elements underwent a version bump. To better help local mappers understand this validation effort, could you clarify what process or tools are being used to make these changes? Thanks. |
| 152802492 | over 1 year ago | Cheers - happy mapping! :) |
| 152694982 | over 1 year ago | Thanks for adding these! |
| 152689738 | over 1 year ago | Hi - this is not an informal crossing, as it is at an intersection and there are sidewalk extensions on either end. Please review the tagging guidance on the Wiki:
I have fixed this error in Changeset: 152693268 |
| 152689311 | over 1 year ago | Hi - the correct value of `crossing:markings` for this crossing is `zebra:paired`, not `zebra`. Please review the tagging guidance on the Wiki:
I have fixed this error in Changeset: 152690920 |
| 152654169 | over 1 year ago | Hi - as I mentioned in the comments on your Changeset: 152648594 - it is incorrect to classify these crossings as informal. Please review the guidance on the Wiki, which clearly states that `crossing=informal` (and `informal=yes`) are only for highways that are not formally established. |
| 152648594 | over 1 year ago | Hi - please note that as per Seattle law (see RCW 46.61.235 and SMC 11.14.135) there exists a legally protected crosswalk at all intersections with curb ramps whether there are road markings present or not. As such, these crossings (and the others in your recent similar changesets) are not informal crossings. I also recommend avoiding use of the `crossing`=* tag entirely: instead, tag `crossing:markings`=* and `crossing:signals`=* as appropriate. |
| 152236150 | over 1 year ago | I've gone ahead and fixed these addresses (Changeset: 152306850) Take a look at these pages on the wiki for more information on how addresses are stored in OSM:
Happy mapping! |
| 152179955 | over 1 year ago | The business in question does occupy the entire building, which does not actually have multiple addresses. A forum thread from six years ago in which there is no clear consensus and which is in conflict with the most recent tagging guidance on the wiki is not an authoritative source. I've fixed this specific instance in Changeset: 152216484; please do not reduce more-detailed mapping of features as areas into nodes in the future. Thanks for making the other good contributions in this changeset and closing their related notes - happy mapping. |
| 152179955 | over 1 year ago | Why have you deleted information from POIs mapped as buildings and blindly copied the tags onto new nodes? For example:
|
| 151161619 | over 1 year ago | Hi! For some context on why those types of crossings are mapped in this area as unmarked and not informal: there exists at all intersections a legal pedestrian crossing whether there are any markings or signals present or not, according to Seattle law. Happy mapping! |
| 151108208 | over 1 year ago | Hi! Please consider separating future changesets into smaller geographic regions, as this makes it easier for future editors to understand and review these changes. For example, after making changes in Mexico, submit those additions before moving on to make edits in Canada. Additionally, please refer to the wiki (osm.wiki/) if you are unsure of how to tag something, rather than using "tourism=attraction" as a generic tag for points of interest. For example, Node: Victoria Bike Rentals (11891775974) should be tagged with "amenity=bicycle_rental" Happy mapping! |
| 150947187 | over 1 year ago | Hi, and welcome to OpenStreetMap! I just wanted to reach out and say that it's great to have another active local mapper and that I especially appreciate your detailed changeset comments - keep up the great work! Happy mapping! |
| 150894875 | over 1 year ago | Hi, and welcome to OpenStreetMap! I see that you requested a review on this changeset - looks good to me for the most part, however I think you might have accidentally put a typo in the "opening_hours" tag. "opening_hours=11:00-2ㄞ:00"
Thanks for your contribution! Let me know if you have any questions, and happy mapping! |
| 150570543 | over 1 year ago | Thanks for patching these up, as well as for your other recent updates to the Maple Leaf area. Happy mapping! |
| 150471133 | over 1 year ago | Hello, and welcome to OpenStreetMap! Thanks for your contributions via StreetComplete! Happy mapping :D |
