May I know why did you delete the gate tag? and what is your source?
Also, please next time say what you deleted in the changeset comment please, thanks.

> The main concern and criterium here would be how up-to-date it is.
simply by calling the number and speak with them to confirm the number is working and for that exact branch :)
Thanks and have a great day!

Good morning dear friend,

"phone number is relevant for business and logistics on a local level"
Absolutely and I do agree with this point.

"would you like me to put the phone tag back onto the post offices?"
No, I guess. Because if we put it in the "phone" tag that number must be reachable by any caller worldwide, so if we want to add it back it must be in the "phone:IQ" tag and this will not help because it won't show in the phone info for apps that use OSM data.

What I think is best to do is to get the actual mobile phone or landline numbers for each branch so it will be 1-relevant and 2-world-wide reachable. Every couple of months or so I usually pass by the street where the main office is located, maybe I can go and ask for mobile phone numbers or at least get the landline numbers in the worst case, unfortunately, %99 of landline phones in Iraq is no longer working after 2003 because the landline telephone exchange was bombed during the invasion, so it must be mobile phone numbers I believe.
Anyway. Thank you for your excellent explanations, good talk to you sir.

Hello, I do agree with you here.
The reason I added the numbers in the first place is so people can call the post office to get their mail/parcel, I know this sound weird to you and yes it kinda does but after 2003 (the invasion) there were no new road signs to put because factories who made them got bombed and we can not put new address signs, etc.... long story, so now let's say I want to buy things from AliExpress I have to put my phone number in the address 2 line so when the parcel arrives they call me to pick it up since they don't deliver to homes after 2003, some people don't have their number in the mail so they call the number and ask if there is a mail for them to come and collect. And this was the reason for me to put it in "Phone" so it can be shown in maps apps, see: https://i.ibb.co/jDryrVm/image.png
So now, even if we put it in "phone:IQ=*" it won't show in the apps I guess and that will be not helpful either, I guess we can live without them I guess.
Sorry for the long story and have a great evening my friend.

Hi again,
I tried to call the number with the country code so I called +9645512 and the lady computer said "the phone is unknown" then I called without the country code just 5512 and the Iraqi post answer machine answered me.
Since we can not add the country code I went to phone=* to see what can we do, and I guess maybe "phone:IQ=5512", what do you think? Thanks again.

Hello Friendly_Ghost,
Thank you for mapping in Iraq.
I noticed you removed the phone number for the Iraqi post and said that it is "invalid format" in the changeset comment, but the number was correct its a number we call in Iraq, Iraqi companies have 4 digit phone number that they can get and government agencies numbers are 3 digits only. You can see the Iraq post number here: https://post.iq/en/%d8%aa%d9%88%d8%a7%d8%b5%d9%84-%d9%85%d8%b9%d9%86%d8%a7/#:~:text=%D8%A8%D8%BA%D8%AF%D8%A7%D8%AF%20%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%88%D9%8A-,5512,-info%40post.iq
What do you recommend doing?
Best Regards my friend.

@ Mahdi Nameghi that doesn’t explain why some of your editors reusing old nodes that was deleted 16 years ago like this case..

129848915 about 3 years ago

Can you explain what you did here?
1- Why your company always reuse old nodes and dragging them across the ocean? is this because of your bad import? Are you discussing the import when you add the data your company add to the map?
2-Please use good changeset comments so people understand what your changeset is.
Regards.

version 1 and 2 were both correct.
In version 2 the tags were:
name:ar=زرواو
name:ar1=زراوة
Both should be on the node now as some might call it that and some might call the other.
But in version 3, ڕاستی removed both, and made the name:ar in Kurdish but with Arabic alphabet,
