My last note was an error. To the direct north and adjacent to Yanglesho Cave is the Buddhist Temple of Jedral Rinpoche. There are reports of some damage and the residents probably need supplies. At Rigpa Shedra and at the Payul Retreat Center are Tibetans and foreigners, East Asian, American and European.
Please check their safety and need for supplies. One woman living next, just south of Payul Retreat Center may need life saving medicine. Also I heard that Jedral Rinpoche and his family were, or are living outside in Tents. This Rinpoche is a very beloved Buddhist Priest, and is 104 years old. He may need to be taken to a safer place along with his wife, Sangyum Kamala Lama, daughter Seymo Rinpoche and attendant Tenzin Lama. They may be staying in a walled compound near but before the Dakshinkali temple, off the road up in the woods. At the Palyul Retreat center are many monks in long term retreat, and their teacher, Khenchen Khenpo Namdrol is in charge of that retreat center and the Rigpa Shedra.
