Samo da javim da sam sredio malo tagove za node/8947011718
sklonio sam name, posto se ime ne odnosi na pojedinacno stablo vec na vrstu. Takodje pomerio sam wikipedia tagove u odgovarajuce species:wikidata / species:wikipedia prema osm.wiki/Key%3Aspecies%3Awikidata . Javljaj ako se ne slazes nesto.

Hi Stadtigel,

Unfortunately this is not how name tag is used in Serbia. We use cyrillic and provided name is official name of route defined by PSS ( Mountaineering association of Serbia ). I can set int_name ( osm.wiki/Names ) which best describes your use case?

I was more attracted with next sentence from url=*:
"So it is advised not to use this tag when more specific alternatives are available such as website=* ..." and we have website tag but for now I'm ok with leaving link to wiki in url instead of note. Later we can change that if needed.

Ja sam Vanja i aktivan sam maper OSM zajednice u Srbiji. Takodje, clan sam Komisije za planinarske terene Planinarskog saveza Srbije ( PSS ) i radim na povezivanju Registra terena PSS sa OSM unutar projekata osm.wiki/Serbia/Projekti/PSS_staze i osm.wiki/Serbia/Projekti/Odrzavanje_pesackih_staza_Srbije .

Primetio sam da si menjao puteve na Suvoj planini, cimam te vezano za way/1204757415 , nekada ranije je bio spojen sa way/821450481 i formirali su planinarsku stazu relation/11258277 . Da li je ovo greska ili putevi stvarno nisu spojeni? Takodje, da li si primetio planinarske markacije na tom delu? Hteo sam da proverim prvo sa tobom pre nego cimam planinarsko drustvo koje odrzava stazu.

Once more thank you for you detailed response and insights provided.

Name of relation is official name, created by Mountaineering association of Serbia ( PSS ) when sections for E4 were defined, and those names are reported to ERA. I will double check with clubs if start of section is missing or it will be covered by E4-10 ( https://pss.rs/terenipp/vratna-krivelj/ ) and mark complete = no if that's case. But if you do not object I would change name back since this is official name.

Regarding using url, I know that it's sometimes more useful but that's one of OSM rules, do not map for render. Description of url tag ( url=* ) clearly defines usage and we have website tag set with official PSS website. Note tag ( note=* ) on the other hand is exactly what wiki is describing. If you do not object I would change tag from url to note.

Regarding problematic part around Ilino village, I will open internal dispute with your feedback and open OSM note.

It's me again :) I'm, as you can imagine, interested in changes of E4, section 11 ( relation/14206054 ).

I saw you changed name. I'm using official Mountain Engineering Association ( PSS ) names for this section of E4 ( https://pss.rs/terenipp/krivelj-soko-banja/ ). You can also find more information on https://pss.rs/planinarski-objekti-i-tereni/tereni/?tip=evropski-pesacki-putevi-u-srbiji . Would you be ok with me changing names back to original ones?

I saw you added wiki I created about mapping E paths in Serbia under url tag, is it ok to change it to note tag? Also, do you thing it would be good idea to add it to other sections of E paths in Serbia, is it useful?

I saw you changed geometry also, probably based on your recent visit. I'm intereseted in removed paths around Ilino village ( relation/14206054#map=15/43.7933/21.9547 ) Does that mean that you were unable to navigate there? I would like to contact club that should be maintaining that section and would appreciate more information? Around what time you visited region?

I will contact club which is maintaining trail and double check with them problematic part of trail since you recently visited it. I propose we leave it as is for now ( per your correction ).

I just wanted to discuss your change regarding relation/11097832 .

My name is Vanja and I'm OSM mapper from Serbia. I'm also part of Working group for trails inside
Mountaineering association of Serbia. I'm working on syncing official data we have about trails registered with association into OSM as part of osm.wiki/Serbia/Projekti/PSS_staze .

I saw you changed geometry of trail, and I'm interested in switching from way/1065454226 and going with northern road, what is you source for this change? Is trail marked that way on the ground?

I also saw that you changed capitalization in name "Томићева колиба - јама Леденица" -> "Томићева колиба – Јама Леденица"? I'm using official trail names for OSM name.

Also you changed network from rwn to lwn. We decided when importing data from PSS to use following:
iwn - for E paths and other international trails
nwn - transversals
rwn - for other trails registered with PSS

PSS currently does not differentiate trails by length. That's something we plan to work on in the future. ( I updated project wiki just now )

Per you changeset ways way/922964608 and way/827371815 are not connected anymore?

I'm maintaining data about hiking trails that Montain Engineering Association of Serbia has and couple of trails are passing those ways.

Prilično sam siguran da se toponim Paljba odnosi na vidikovac koji se nalazi dalje niz put prema Kaoni, node/422766558 ?

I think you misunderstood my changeset comment, I noted why I added name:sr not from where. If you do not mind I would like to return name:sr tag.

I think ways should not be added directly to this parent relation. Instead ways should be added to child relations per country.

Vezano za Vukove bogaze ( relation/13237511 ). Prema https://pss.rs/terenipp/vukove-bogaze/ deluje da staza ide prvo u planinarski dom Šarena bukva pa onda u Tršić, da li imaš neki drugi izvor koji govori suprotno?

Dodajem planinarsku stazu u OSM ( https://pss.rs/terenipp/jarsenovo-g-kupinovica-kriva-buka/ ) i naišao sam na problem sa manastirom „Манастир Светог Претече и Крститеља Господњег Јована ” za kojega si rekao da je „Манастир Ваведења Пресвете Богородице”. Sajt manastira ( https://svetijovanjasunja.wordpress.com ), podaci o planinarskoj stazi i google kažu drugačije. Da li možeš da mi potvrdiš da je way/507754996 „Манастир Ваведења пресвете Богородице” a ne „
Манастир Светог Претече и Крститеља Господњег Јована”?

Moguće da grešim, noćio sam u ovom kampu nedavno. Kamp je zapravo jedna okošena, skoro pa ravna ledina. Na istom mestu na kojem su kamperi ( na ovoj slici http://www.camping.rs/sr/c/kamp-tatinac-uzice/ ) mi smo noćili sa autom koji ima šator na krovu a pored nas je bilo 20 tak šatora. Kamp ne poseduje izvedena mesta za vodu, struju, odvod sive i crne tečnosti. Mislim da generalno kampovi treba da budu tagovani ili sa camp_site ili sa caravan_site u zavisnosti od primarne namene a da se sa tents=yes i caravan=yes regulise ostala namena. Dosta je komplikovano održavati informacije koje su iste na oba noda.
