"The names should be restricted to the name of the item in question only and should not include additional information not contained in the official name such as categories, types, descriptions, addresses, refs, or notes. However, if a street is officially named "East 110th Street", this should be the name notwithstanding the fact that the "street", the "110" and "east" might be deducible from some other information; likewise, "Ho Chi Minh City" should remain intact even though the place is tagged place=city."

According to the Wiki entry, name should contain an expansion of the name. And short forms, which are more commonly used by people, should go to short_name. So, I don't think your change was correct.

Hey, it was nice to see your additions. A small correction I would like to suggest would be to use amenity=prep_school instead of the education tag that is being currently used at the institute.

Um. But I would still have to connect the boxes (which is needed regularly in Delhi), which can be avoided with just deleting everything and then creating a new box with building tools and then splitting with the terracer plugin. My tracing would be significantly lengthened without deleting.

But it is much faster to delete, and then quickly trace with josm. If I had to preserve those buildings then I would have to align them, then trace the remaining buildings, then connect them (which is always prone to much errors).

Because it is like setting the alt name of Kalkaji Mandir as "Mandir." Also, that thing isn't a common name. The religion tag already specifies that bahai too.

I don't think changing the boundary to place=city would be correct, since Delhi still have some villages in it. Nor do I think it would be a good idea to have 2 Delhis, since people don't make much of a distinction between the two. (Delhi city encompasses almost all of the area of Delhi state, even villagers call they are in Delhi city.) Are you suggesting changing just the label to place=city? Would it cause any problem with Delhi relation which should contain place=state?

(BTW, I think one can see the word "Delhi" on the map if they zoom out, like other Indian states like "Bihar." It might be hidden because it is very close to "New Delhi", the capital of India.
