Even the official map of the city of Vienna: https://www.wien.gv.at/stadtplan/ still uses the spelling with spaces, and also the ones with 'ß' that you changed. I think all these changes should be reverted, unless you actually see the changed spellings on relevant street signs, public transport stop names, etc. (And especially the name= tag on the public transport stop name should match how the stop is actually spelled on the signs, in the schedules, etc.)

See e.g. http://www.wienerlinien.at/itip/ – just look for the stops you edited, they all use the original spelling, not the one you changed it to.

Zum Anderen sehe ich aber immer noch keinen befriedigenden Nachweis für die Behauptung, "die Wiener" würden diesen Gipfel unter dem behaupteten Namen kennen. Ich würde mich jedenfalls als Wiener bezeichnen (lebe praktisch seit meiner Geburt vor bald 34 Jahren hier in Wien) und habe außerhalb von OSM noch nie von einem "Peter-Paul-Berg" gehört. Auch im Internet lassen sich die wenigen Quellen mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit auf den einige Zeit lange bestehenden OSM-Eintrag zurückführen.

Die Tatsache, daß du unter dem Benutzer "Fotoalben" genau diesen einen Edit hast, läßt mich jedenfalls stark vermuten, daß es sich hierbei um eine Tarnidentität (realistischerweise von "peterpp") handelt.

Der name=-Tag sollte entweder Handleinsberg bleiben oder ganz entfernt werden.

Unfortunately, you have set the name= and name:de= tags of a restaurant in Vienna to a word in Arabic letters (according to Google Translate, the Arabic word for "vegetarian") that appears to be a description in Arabic rather than a name in German. I have reverted this change in changeset #47642200.

Please do not put descriptions into name= or name:*= tags. Please also make sure that you tag names and descriptions with the correct language. (The unsuffixed name= and description= tags should be the name and description, respectively, in the country's native language and alphabet.) In this case, you probably want description:ar= as the tag.

Some of your recent edits in Prague and Brno also have name= tags in Arabic letters, those also look wrong to me, but I have not changed those because I am not sure what the correct name (in Czech) of those objects is.

The problem is that the OpenCycleMap does not render icn, which is why EV9 and EV6 have been missing there for years now. So this was probably an attempt at tagging for the renderer (somewhat understandable in this case because it affects the main application for those tags). I have not seen it actually show up on the OpenCycleMap though while this change was active: either the data was not synced in time or there was some other issue with the tagging.

You have added name:ko tags for 3 buildings to the public OpenStreetMap database. (Warning: Anything you save in MAPS.ME gets uploaded to the public database!) I do not speak Korean, but seeing the buildings (2 of which do not even have a name in German) and the Google translation of the name:ko tags you added, they do not look like the actual names of the buildings to me. Therefore, I reverted your changeset (see my changeset changeset/46825891 ) assuming it was probably a mistake. (If those really are the names of the 3 buildings, then I will restore them.) Please, in the future, only write text into name:ko that is actually the name of the building (or other object) in Korean.

I fixed the name tags. They are clearly wrong, Chinese characters also do not belong in the name:de tag. What you as a Chinese speaker can do is to verify the Chinese characters in the name:zh tag for the restaurant Lotos (= Lotus, but they spell it Lotos) in Feldkirch. I'm pretty sure about the first one ("lotus" in Traditional Chinese according to Google translate, and seems to match what is on the signage), but I picked the second one visually from a list of characters and it may be wrong. What is sure is that your name:zh tag did not match the signage on the photo I found.

wenn du public_transport=platform Wege oder Flächen erstellst, setze bitte auch railway=platform (für Straßenbahn) und/oder highway=platform (für Bus), die sind zwar an sich veraltet, aber leider immer noch die einzigen Tags, die von den Renderers auch verstanden werden. Und es kostet ja nichts, auch die alten Tags zu setzen. Schau dir das Ergebnis mal auf openstreetmap.org (mit dem Default-Mapnik-Renderer) an, dann siehst du, was ich meine. Ich weiß, wir taggen nicht für den Renderer, aber in diesem Fall sind es ja keine falschen Informationen, sondern nur Abwärtskompatibilität (die eigentlich schon lange nicht mehr notwendig sein sollte, aber es leider immer noch ist).

Ich habe die Korrekturen eh schon durchgeführt.

Laut der Linienskizze (die von den Wiener Linien selbst stammt) wird Börse-Schottenring über den Schottenring gefahren (was auch die logische Variante ist), also wie beim bereits getaggten N25. Nur Richtung Schlickgasse→Grinzing wird natürlich links in die Börsegasse (gegenläufiger Gleiskörper) abgebogen, in dem Fall stimmt es also.

Fährt der Rind-Rund-N38 von Börse bis Schottenring wirklich über die Zweierlinie (Börsegasse - Maria-Theresien-Straße) und nicht wie der N25 direkt über den Schottenring?

place=locality war sicher nicht der richtige Tag, da gebe ich dir auf jeden Fall recht. Aber name= (und osm.wiki/Tag:wikipedia:de=) alleine ist auch keine Lösung. Das wird so weder gerendert, noch von Nominatim indiziert, noch von sonst irgendeiner Software erkannt. Ein Punkt muß immer irgendetwas sein (z.B. eine Locality, aber das ist der Platz sicher nicht), das dann einen Namen haben kann oder auch nicht, aber einem nicht weiter spezifizierten Punkt einen Namen zu geben, ist nicht sinnvoll.

Laut http://www.wienerlinien.at/eportal2/ep/programView.do/programId/66571 ist die in diesem Changeset gelöschte Haltestelle Barnabitengasse aber nur vorübergehend (nur für 3 Monate) aufgelassen.

Are you sure your mass edit only touched objects that are actually in Slovakia? The bounding box looks like you may have trespassed into neighboring countries. (At least the west bound is farther west than the westmost point in Slovakia.)
