Great that you contribute with your local knowledge. :)
We use so called tags to describe objects. So instead of writing in the name field what this building is we would add the tag "amenity=police". With the iD editor you can simply select police instead of building.
This is similar to what I did with the post office: way/1096292019

Okay good point there. But I think that is a problem of the router because I want my router to direct me to the address and not to the nearest point of a street with the same name. Maybe this is configurable and if not I think it should be reported.

The telegram group told me, deleting/changing wrong data but keeping data which you don't understand or find unnecessary. I think that's a good principle, I also want my error/outdated edits corrected but not tags deleted just because not everybody finds them important.
