This canal is normally dry and only fills with water after sustained heavy rain when the bournes rise once every few years.

The Royal Maritime Club is in Queen Street . This icon in the middle of the Naval Base seems to be an error unless there are two Royal Maritime Clubs in Portsmouth with only one open to the public

There is no real evidence this was a military building - it has what were once glazed windows to the South and appears to have had trees to the South obscuring the view since before WW2. Various pieces of evidence including the type of fencing round the site and the fact the similar but smaller building on the North Side of the North Downs Way (missing from OSM) was still in use in the 1950's makes me suspect this was operated by the Sutton District Water Company.

I corrected this road name to 'Monkey Puzzle Way' while the south end near the Draper Centre has changed the other labels of this linear feature still show 'The Drive' that does not exist in Carshalton. The road signs at the junction with Damson Way show it to be 'Monkey Puzzle Way' at that point.

The address for this is shown as 'Wallington' though I entered the correct address as 'Carshalton' which still shows when I edit the entry. Wallington is about 1/2 mile to the East the other side of Boundary Road. I am not sure how to correctthis.

There is a mysterious windowless building here shown on old OS maps as a TA Centre but is now labeled Stanley Hall and is believed to have been rented out after it was acquired by Sutton Council
