Your edit was fine. It just threw me when I went to put in some data and saw it was already there. I wondered if I was in the wrong place, or remembered the area wrong. After looking at your edit, I realized it was a mass general edit. I left a note on it in case I or somebody else run across it again. It should be easier to capture speed limits soon, my Mapillary images are getting closer and closer up into Tacoma

Note to future mappers errors have been found in this edit. Do not trust it.

Thank's for adding this to the map. I noticed this needed to be done when I was out capturing the latest mapillary images. One thing, don't forget to add the access tag's to the blocks. I went ahead and set foot and bicycle to yes and cars to no.

It works.

Welcome to OSM. It's good to see someone else mapping in this area, it needs lots of work.

I noticed you seem to have forgotten to add a tag to your buildings. They need a building=yes, without it they won't show up on the map.

As always please message me if you have any questions.

Looking at your roads through this area. It looks like someone decided to mass change every road to a speed limit of 45. There is not an AFB in this country that will have a 45 speed limit in a residential area. I may be wrong, I have not seen it, but I would say 20. Maxspeed:souce 30 MPH unless otherwise posted.

I made a slight edit to your change and added access tags for foot and bicycle to yes. Per https://www.mapillary.com/map/im/VregQ1CUaVeiMeRTilqQpQ

I even put a note on this area saying the city is doing road work on this road.

61533117 over 7 years ago

The overhead images are wrong for this entire city. Every road is under construction. Look at Mapillary. Your changes are not welcome here.

Why change this road? Take a look at the Street Imagery or update your overhead images. The city is changing all roads.

Keep in mind for the future we can't use Google aerial imagery in OpenStreetMap. They have not given permision. Bing has granted use along with persion to use there StreetSide images, but Google has not. You may find Mapbox images to be more current then Bings. We can use Mapbox.

In iD push "b" it will bring up the background images.

Sorry, but I just noticed this one. Be careful with deleting certain nodes that come in with the GNIS import, You can find them nearby the area. Usually across the street, and around the corner. This particular one has changed names over the years. But, is across the street. https://www.mapillary.com/map/im/QCzedugtuC_YVGyWJyQsFw

Just to let you know I added a fixme tag to the building, so it stands out to alert editors to the problem.

Okay, that's fair. I love to walk around and not sit at the computer. So, if you want me to capture images of anything I can. Provided it's in my walk radius, which is very large. I have a few cameras. I use for walking and biking.

I removed a park that was over a school. If that is a park I'll put it back.

You are setting Commercial areas and residential areas that are wrong. Most of this area is mixed with areas. Please revise your areas. One example https://www.mapillary.com/map/im/rvwhfh1hYzr0ebYJ2cnkpA

Issues with what you want. I'm not locally there, I was just working through the task. But, don't worry I will move to another project, and revert my changes at the next chance. Good luck on your project.
