This edit makes not sense and has created points all over the south Puget sound region.
Verify your edits before posting. Especially when such large changes are being made.

When making edits to a community, make sure to keep those edits in a small area. On Vashon, keep the edits on Vashon and submit the changes before editing in another geographical location. Describe changes more succinctly and with better detail.

It seems weird that someone would make the comment that your edits were too small. Issue with large geographic locations is that your edit history will overlay large regions, making edit history's for people looking at small areas that much more difficult. For updating the phone number format it makes sense to me to go state by state at the largest and city by city/town by town as a safe bet.
