This is the "new" diversion track (established 10 years ago) for the CooK to Voakes Hill road and is the only route accessible for anyone to travel - no access permitted ever to anyone to the native wells.

After many years and consultations with the rangers at Fitzgerald R NP I have had it confirmed that the entire Fitzgerald River Inlet Track is to be removed from maps - it has been closed for many years and will never be trafficable.
