Hawkins Village was torn down july 2022, new complex is being built.

Walkway on Washington Ave bridge is closed while bridge is replaced (expected through end of 2025: https://www.swissvaleborough.com/322/Washington-Street-Bridge-Updates )

This entire bridge has now been demolished and so the footpath is unusable. (Previously the footpath was still in regular use despite the road being barricaded and a Sidewalk Closed sign in front of traffic.)
