Thanks for the explanation. leisure=pitch still seems inappropriate to me for the entire area. To my knowledge, this is normally only used for areas where a sport is practiced, but not for such large areas that also contain many service roads and buildings. That's also what it says on the wiki page. In Australia, landise=recreation_ground is often used for racecourses. Maybe that would work here too. I don't know. In any case, I won't change the tags. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Oh,, I just saw that you retagged way/1444237933 from keisure=pitch + sport=equestrian to leisure=horse_riding with comment "More appropiate tagging of horse pitch" .You must have misunderstood me. I can clearly see in Bing etc. that it is a riding arena. Since you allowed me to retag the arenas to my liking (and to what the wiki recommends), I have retagged it back: changeset/176460995
