Sowas könnte man bestimmt auch andersrum angehen, einem Programm Beispielfotos von Schilder vorlegen, sagen um welche Schilder es sich handelt, und es dann lernen lassen.

Dass die vielen “externen” Karten nicht beachtet wurden, spricht ja dafür dass der Test ausschließlich openstreetmap.org mit dem Mapnik-Layer beurteilt hat. Also das, was auch Otto Normalbürger benutzen würde und wo er dies und das vermisst. Das ist imo ein unlösbares Problem, OSM ist primär ein Datenprojekt, aber es wird von vielen als Kartenprojekt gesehen und dann ist .org (oder halt auch .de, egal) == OSM. Was Otto auf “irgendwelchen obskuren privaten” Domains noch finden könnte, wenn er 2 Stunden das Wiki (hä, wikipedia?) durchwühlt zählt da nicht.

What I meant by that is for example an entrance that is locate in the center of a side wall. By selecting all three nodes (edge, edge, entrance) of the wall and distributing them with that function you move it to the right location.

also on what device with what software.

OpenStreetMap is not a place where you could add this kind of information.
It might be a good base for you though, eg with as a base layer and the historical information coming in from a secondary database.

Ich bin im Moment in Hamburg unterwegs und werde täglich angesprochen. Aber die meisten sind wirklich nett und ich habe auch schon 10 Minuten mit einem Vermessungsingenieur über GPS geflucht. :)

Es gibt die Möglichkeit Changesets rückgängig zu machen. Ich weiß aber nicht wie das geht.

Halt, stop! Geht es um GPX-Tracks? Dann denke sich da niemand bei etwas, sondern möchte nur durch "mehr Tracks == besser" helfen.
