Wow, that was a long time ago. I *think* that it came from me filling in some road names from OS Locator, back when Ito used to run a service to compare OSM's coverage with OS Locator:

osm.wiki/OS_Locator

Most roads were easy to go out and survey to check the name, but there are some unsigned roads and the ones at the Channel Tunnel terminal are awkward to map unless you're actually going to cross there, and particularly awkward for a cyclist (me) because it's reached from the motorway.

Thanks. This was driven by me tackling another area that my solar comparison tool [1] had identified as being lightly mapped for solar installations in OSM, but where the Feed in Tariff data from a while back has quite a few solar installations recorded. It looks like an adjacent area, Norwich 012C, has also been picked up in the list, but I've not taken a look at that yet.

No, we didn't go down the steps to the pub. We had a heavy bike with us. We rode on to the Rider's Rest Tea Room at Wellow. These photos (search for the CycleStreets location IDs) were from our holiday about a fortnight ago, so are what I saw then. Certainly it looks similar one of those you saw at the pub.

Looks like it's re-rendered OK on the tile servers that I'm accessing now :-). May vary for other ones due to the geo-IP handling, though.

Ooops, that should have said spotting, not spotted!
