There are a number of very deep "holes" with steep walls in the east hangs of Monte Baldo. I can't see them in printed maps or satellite pictures, so I guess they are not real.
The one marked is especially suspicious as the street that climbs uphill does not seem to pay attention to the course of the contour lines.
