I removed your new nation boundary but left all of the address to building modification. If you have questions about why I removed the boundary, please let me know.

I'll send you more info on OSM in a message.

Instead of private for bicycle, foot, and horse I think you want no. Access private basically tells cars and trucks that this is a private road. The no tells pedestrians, cyclists, etc. that they are not welcome.

If you are part of a group adding bail bond agents, please read the wiki on office. The original tag had vacant=yes. I'm guessing it's no longer vacant. I corrected your edit and removed the spam. If you need help, please let me know. I've had to fix a number of these in the last few weeks.

To Kevin's question about not mapping temporary feature. The wiki article osm.wiki/Good_practice#Don.27t_map_temporary_events_and_temporary_features covers the question.

Those changesets added a landuse=military. Not appropriate or accurate. AFAIK, we have no tag to describe the area as it is now. Again, we don't tag temporary features. While this may last days or even a few weeks, it's still just temporary. As a contrast, look at DC where the 16th street was renamed. osm.org/#map=19/38.90174/-77.03610. Get the city to rename the street. That would make a lasting statement and be perfect for OSM

Looks like two more mappers have made the building abandoned again. I'm going to leave it for a few days. If and when the police move back in it can be corrected then.

Take a look at https://spdblotter.seattle.gov/2020/06/08/spd-re-opening-streets-around-east-precinct/. While I agree it could be just propaganda, I suspect they plan to stay keep the location. If the city follows though on budget cuts, the last thing they need is to move to a new building.

It appears that it is tempy situation which isn't appropriate for mapping in OSM. As for the source, I saw similar news reports. Before reverting, I did consult with other mappers in the area and they agreed with reverting.

Why is this a landuse=military?

TIP: Instead of deleting objects just adjust the geometry to match imagery.

I'd go with building=house as well. Building=yes is just a generic its a building.
Instead of using name=14018, use addr:housenumber=14018 as well as street, city and zip code.

TIP: We spell out street names in OSM instead of using abbreviations. Reason - software has a hard time un-abbreviating. Can you fix?

No you are not. Boundaries are difficult. I've even delayed fixing a boundary because they are so difficult when multiple boundaries are involved. And I've been doing this a while. Don't be afraid of making mistakes - we all do, and I know I still make mistakes. The main point is to have fun improving the map.

This edit looks okay. I would have used the common boundaries for Manchester Lab and the state park in a relation for each instead of two separate polygons. Doing so with the iD editor is more difficult than with the JOSM editor.

Now the park is a multipolygon with just one polygon which is strange. See osm.wiki/Relation:multipolygon for more information on multipolygons.

I'll send you a message with some general OSM material that may help.

I made a minor change of the section of the footway connecting to the street to just an unmarked crossing instead of stairs. I'll send you more info on OSM in a message.
