| 114385410 | about 4 years ago | It looks like you accidentally added in a section of driveway twice. Can you fix? Let me know if you need help

| 114374930 | about 4 years ago | Thank you for your edit. I reviewed your work and it looks good. One question - you added layer=-1 - I'm not sure why? that would indicate it's under something. BTW - Thanks for updating the Museum of glass. I love the place and have been there a number of times. (Notice my user name)

| 71372506 | about 4 years ago | FYI - In OSM we spell out street name. Reason - software has a hard time un-abbreviating |
| 114162226 | about 4 years ago | According to your lat/long the peak is just a few feet south of the actual peak. Another OSM editor, JOSM has the lat/long displayed on screen. JOSM is available at josm.openstreetmap.de. Let me know if you need.

| 35619455 | about 4 years ago | This is an old one - You initially added BR-0611 as a cycleway. Do you have any recollection of adding this? Seems like it should either be a path or a track. |
| 114076111 | about 4 years ago | #TIP: if Northwest 30th Avenue is undergoing construction you can show it by tagging it as highway=construction + highway=residential - assuming it will be a residential street when the development opens.

|
| 114095345 | about 4 years ago | How is this an alley? Looks like a driveway in which case, access=private isn't needed.
|
| 114006957 | about 4 years ago | Can you please set the mountains back to their official name? Adding in the indigenous name with the appropriate language tag would be helpful. |
| 114006957 | about 4 years ago | Why did you pick Tahoma instead of one of the other native american names such as "Takhoma" or "Ta-co-bet" just to mention two.
|
| 113971334 | about 4 years ago | You changed the tracktype from grade5 to grade1. A grade1 is usually a paved or sealed surface. Can you review this edit? See tracktype=* for help on tracktype.
|
| 113973864 | about 4 years ago | I took the liberty of redrawing the roads according to Island County records. See https://islandcountygis.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0354dac111f5428499f8a36395d5bc3f

| 113945752 | about 4 years ago | You extended Widberry Lane. Country records indicate that the road ends where it did before you extended it. Can you verify your extension? Should it be a driveway instead?
|
| 113887635 | about 4 years ago | #TIP: Check out the wiki, charge=*, for proper use of the charge key. Instead of adding information that changes regularly I use just add website= to the tags.
|
| 113858751 | about 4 years ago | #TIP: try to not connect the sidewalk to buildings except for entrances. It can be difficult since the editor likes to snap to nearby features. I disconnected the two.

| 113621062 | about 4 years ago | That was an amazing man. We need more like him. |
| 113764182 | about 4 years ago | When mapping sidewalks a separate ways was first proposed it created some controversy. But, Nick Bolton, UW, was very convincing in his arguments. I had run into the same issue when mapping sidewalks as attributes of roads. It was impossible to connect ways for routing. There are places where mapping sidewalks as attributes work well, mainly because it's almost impossible to do pedestrian routing. (Before covid-19 I used to spend quite a bit of time in Costa Rica. Other than in San Jose, the sidewalks could never be use by someone in a wheelchair) I hope you keep mapping. There is so much to do. I have difficultly just keeping up with restaurants and cafes around me. I also like to add woods (natural=wood) and landuse=farmland. I even spend a few days mapping grapes near the Tri-Cities - mostly because I love Washington wines. Join us on Slack, osmus.slack.com. There is a great community and lots of thoughts on mapping. |
| 113764182 | about 4 years ago | OSM is a volunteer project. It takes time to map everything, especially when people map what they like to map. BTW - I've mapped thousands of miles of sidewalks. They can be harder to map than a street, but ultimately it serves a purpose - better pedestrian routing. Note that the big map companies do very little mapping of sidewalks, curb cuts, marked and unmarked intersections. Why - because there is no money in it. OSM doesn't care about the money. If you've ever seen a person in a wheelchair struggle to get to their destination you might feel differently. I remember on trying to get to a Target store. Because he didn't have a sidewalk map, he was forces to turn around and retrace his way because there was no curb cut. OSM also has a ground truth objective. If it's on the ground permanently then it can be mapped. Sidewalks can easily be ground truthed. |
