Generally you don't want to connect roads with landuse/borders. I usually have the landuse come right to the edge of the street at the curb. When something changes, for instance WWU grows, you don't need to unglue the nodes to move the landuse.

I reverted this edit. The new street added on top of an existing road just doesn't make sense.

My shapefile has Unimak Island shown as Izembek NWR Complex, org name Alaska Maritime Wildlife Refuge. The two areas NE of Unimak Island show an org name of Izembek National Wildlife Refuge. I think we could change Unimak Island to Alaska Maritime... Do you want me to make the change? And were you in the shake zone?

Dave - the name was there when I added the NWR. It looks like it should be named Umnak Island. I'm happy to fix - if you can confirm that is the name you have.

Checkout osm.wiki/Mountain_biking for information on how to add mountain bike trails. highway=cycleway is intended for dedicated cycleways, usually alongside of a road or a dedicated route. The wiki article also gives information on tagging difficulty with mtb:scale, incline, etc.

Instead of a node for the apartments, if you use an area around the complex, tag it landuse=residential with the name of the complex, it will render nicely. I'd do it but don't know the boundaries.

I changed the street name to its full spelling. We don't use abbreviations in OSM for streets. It save confusion for software trying to give directions.

You might want to check out opensidewalks.com for examples of mapping the crosswalks. They should be tagged as highway=footway + footway=crossing.

It looks like there are two different addresses on the house, 654 NW 137th St and 13700 Northwood Rd NW. Can you remove the incorrected one?

John - I fixed the tags on the address. The house number should be tagged separately as addr:housenumber and street as addr:street=Emily Drive. I also removed the name tag - we don't want personal information in OSM.

BTW - you are the first person I've seen using gnome maps. I'm running Fedora but have never even tried to edit with it. Thanks for using it.

Tip: OSM uses full street name spellings - to avoid software trying to figure out how to un-abbreviate names. I fixed the street.

I changed the tag to leisure=disc_golf_course. (It's already inside of a park) The city lists the name as Ellenburg Disc Golf Course which I also updated. If you are interested in mapping the course, check out the wiki osm.wiki/wiki/leisure=disc_golf_course

I removed the area=yes inside of the park. The area tag doesn't give any useful information.

Some of the ponds look to be basin=detention. Where the water is allowed to soak into the ground, while other areas look more like wetlands. I made some changes. Feel free to change them if you think I'm wrong
